tough grader! Overall, good teacher but she will have another classmate review your rough draft, which isn't very helpful. I personally got people who barely even read my essays, I would prefer the professor reviews a rough draft before submitting the final.

Terrible feedback, her grading system is trash. I only remember how to do one thing. her replies by email have so much attitude in them, quizzes are simple but make no sense, there like mind tricking.

Comment:

Freuler is a great professor. She is tough when you don't do the assignments she assigns on canvas, so keep up with all her work. She will tell you straight up what needs to be fixed and she doesn't sugar coat anything. Final was to present but she doesn't grade you like she normally would, i feel like she graded us easier on this.

Her tests are 4 questions long. So you better not get any wrong. Also, she does these peer reviews but even if everyone says you did a great job, she'll still give you a C. She doesn't really explain what she wants from you in the assignments. This is definately a class where you have to read the textbook.

It's true that she's a tough grader and a strict professor, but her feedback is constructive. Whenever you need help, she offers good resources that you can use to help you get a good grade in the class. Although I'm taking the online class, I don't feel overwhelmed as much. If you know how to schedule your time, you will pass her class. :)

Tough grader but she gives good feedback and you can fix your mistakes. We only used the textbook for ONE play and never used it again. I found the play online for free, I could have saved $50 but she told us that the book was needed. She's pretty tough on grading and sometimes may come out as rude when she's giving feedback. Get ready to read.

Do NOT take her. I passed with a low B but it was very and extremely hard. She's bad at grading, and I used to get As in all papers i submit for every class. Never got an A on none of the 5 papers that were due for this class even if it was A material.

STAY AWAY! Her syllabus is clear. 1st essay she asked for a few things so I changed them on the 2nd. She then proceeds to mark those same things wrong on 2nd essay. No matter what you do, you won't get a good grade. Showed both essays to another prof and they said she's EXTREMELY harsh and not consistent on grading. Chose someone else!!!

She was very difficult to deal with. Prior to this class, I have never had much difficulty with English. I am taking her freshman comp 2. She makes you read and critique other students paper and the same for yours. With my papers I always try my best and either my sentences are awkward, format is wrong or she just doesn't like what i write.

I loved her ! I dont know why some people are saying she is rude . If you try your best on the papers, you will do great. She likes to see your putting effort. Ask questions and follow directions. Never had a problem with her, she was always very helpful and sweet. All essays are based on like 4 stories/plays.

Great teacher!!! There are 4 major writing assignments. She keeps things interesting, and is sooo helpful once she sees you making an effort. There was some reading and online quizzes but they're overall not too bad. Great advice for writing. However, I NEVER used The Little Seagull book. I Highly recommend her for freshman comp 2!!!! :)

Anyone who said they got a bad grade in her class did not try! Writing is not my best subject but if you listen to her advice on what to change on your paper your grade will improve mine did! She takes the time to know you personally and is very clear about what she expects from you. I loved this class and everyone around me in it loved it too.

I advise that you be aware of this teacher's unhelpful, rude attitude before you commit to her course. I've never before received low essay scores- it seems that this teacher is more interested in tearing your hard work apart and making rude comments, than bettering students. Disappointed. But, her outline and course expectations are clear.

Comment:

Professor Freuler was an extremely hard grader and often was rude when I raised questions. She had a hard time admitting she was wrong, even when it was clear that she made a mistake. Her syllabus had many errors, including homework page numbers and her own phone number. I wouldn't recommend her class to anyone.
