Professor Galloway is an extremely bright, talented and capable person. Although she is no longer with FSCJ, she was an excellent professor and human being. She made you think outside of the box and it is a loss for the students that she is no longer with the College.

Comment:

Class very informative makes you thirst for more she opens your mind to think. I could see how someone would think she is unorganized, but only to those whom like to be spoon fed. Good for those who are serious about learning in a relaxed atmosphere. Just do the easy assignments and move on. She’s not there to baby sit, but to teach mature adults.

Comment:

Professor Galloway is an extremely helpful instructor that connects with her students. Her teaching style might seem like one would not be learning, however, that is exactly the point. Her coursed (I had her for REL2300)are so interesting with her class discussions that students get more out of those discussion, than lectures or book reading.

Ms. G is an amazing professor and a great person. She was a breath of fresh air from all my other structured classes and I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that she was old-fashioned and did not rely so much on blackboard and such. The whole point is to go out and learn the material after the professor gives you a taste, not a lazy waste of a student.

HORRIBLE! Unorganized, and extremely unprepared. She just talks randomly about people and never ties it into the material you need. She doesn't teach, much less go over the material she expects you to know for the quizzes. DON'T take her class if you need a structured class, this is definitely NOT the teacher for you. I couldn't stand the class!!!!

If you like a teacher that lets you know whats going on, dont take her class. She is so unorginaized and she jumps from topic to topic. You do not learn anything! You can pass her class with all the extra credit she gives you. The only assignments you turn in are these little quiz's that arent worth anything. You pass the class IF she likes you.

TOTALLY UNORGANIZED! She jumps from subject to subject randomly, and expects you to make time for field trips, where you get credit for being or not being in class. She is very rarely on time, I've left her class at least twice so far because of it. Would not recommend her for anyone who needs a structured classroom setting to truly learn anything!

Definitely unconventional, but still a lot of fun. Who cares if she doesn't give your assignments back? It's hard to fail this class. I only did one field trip (Synagogue) and no community service and I still got an A. As long as you're interested and come to class it's impossible to fail. And she is late sometimes. Great social connections, too.

Professor Galloway is awesome! She is incredibly unorganized and flighty, but if you just pay attention in class and do the assignments you will get an "A". She has a really cool laid back personality and is very willing to help you any way she can. Once i got used to her style it was easy to keep up.

She is basically a hippie! Really awesome person, and creative! Her class was super easy, and you do need the book. Most of her material came from it or the movies you watch in class. She gives so many opportunities for extra credit, and if you want an easy A I would definitely recommend her. She doesn't pass anything back though!

She is an ok teacher, she assigns things but never keeps with it. She is CRAZY literally. She gives a crap load of work and she seems to think this is the only class you're taking because the work load is above to much, but its possible to pass.

VERY UNORGANIZED!! always late to class and keeps you late to make up some time... writes random words on the board that make no sense.. never gives back tests//quizzes.. expects u to make time to go on field trips.. but if you go on field trips and do comm. service.. You will get an A... but i learned NOTHING in this class.. except how to do yoga.

She is very pasionate about the subject and shows it every class. I've been in college for 17 years and she is the best instructor I've had so far. The material comes from the book and additional movies, and outside field opportunities she puts together. I really wish she taught other subjects because I would definelty take her again.

Very fun Prof, we actually did Tai chi before one class was interesting, take notes kepp organized and do extra credit work and you will be good, also need to be engaging in class. dont let her apperance or the she dresses give you any ideas as to her intellilectual ability. very laid back and a cool cat over all

Prof. Galloway is not difficult. Attend your field trips and be active in class and you will be fine. She is a little flighty so following her as she jumps from subject to subject is "interesting", but just breathe and take it in stride. VERY cool Prof.

Nicest and sweetest woman ever, laid back, understanding, very cool (hippie!), will really help you out. SO UNORGANIZED though, I had NO idea what went on in that class or whats due when. Does give lots of extra credit, you do have to show up for class to do well, gives tons of points for small in class work.
