Professor Robitaille was a big contributor to my chosen major. Even though ENC1102 is a very basic level English course, he made it engaging and interesting with the incorporation of hot topics and current events. He explains how your grade is composed very clearly on the first day and offers lots of help and support along the way. 10/10 reccommend

I had him for ENC1101 and ENC1102. Dr. Robitaille is an excellent teacher who shares his unlimited knowledge freely. You have to do the reading, a few writing assignments, and in ENC1102, a research paper. He gives excellent feedback and Santa Fe students are lucky to have a professor of his caliber.

Easy A. He gives a lot of papers to read, but most of the time you only have to skim them and summarize them on a quiz and get an A. We watched a lot of movies. It was a great class that really fine tuned my BS detectors. The research paper was fun! But you should submit a draft to him, he can be pretty picky about punctuation. Good teacher- take!

Great Professor. You get what you earn. Takes off points for tardy and missing class. Chooses great material. Syllabus is clear but doesn't waver. Great feed back.

The semester I took him was all about finding the fallacies across disciplines. Opened my eyes to so many things. There is Norton Anthology you have to buy, but we only used it for the first half of the semester. Pretty long papers and you have to be a good writer to do exceptionally well on them. It's easy to pass, a bit harder to ace. Be creative

Professor Robitaille was a good professor. He went over class handouts and allowed students to take notes on the handout given. He always offered feedback for papers via email or office hours, and encouraged students to go to the Writing Lab. Make sure that you read the assignments and attend class. Do NOT procrastinate on the Essays.

Robitaille requires a series of papers for this class that I was scared of ghe length, but he was a very nice and forgiving grader. His lectures are engaging and interesting to attend. I would only disagree with his use of a writing journal, but if you keep up with it you will do fine. As long as you do the reading and are a decent writer, its an A

This was class was great; it wasn't too hard or easy, but it did require work. His lectures are quite entertaining and interesting, he mentions things he has done in his history of teaching and schooling that inspire you. I would recommend taking him. As long as you do the papers and assignments you will pass, do the papers on time.

I've been at SantaFe for three years now and this was by far the best taught, best organized, most focused, and most informative class I've taken here. Help is given when asked and he's clear on assignments. Read the essay assignments, get involved in the papers and you'll do fine.

I took this class thinking that he was a helpful professor. He is not very clear about assignments and expects you to learn the material quickly. I would not recommend him at all. Unless you are an English major Don't take him!

There is a lot of material but Robitaille covers it really well. He's pretty good about returning work back and letting you revise it. There is a lot of reading and writing but lecture provides a lot of discussion time to help you grasp the material. Overall really great English professor!

his class is very straight forward! He also graded fairly with writings and allowed revisions. The only thing I didn't like was the quizzes he did in every class to check if we read or not. If you missed one it was an automatic 0 overall a good teacher to have for ENC1102. He does act sometimes as if he really doesn't like you, but that's it.

Mr. Robitaille is by far the greatest English teacher I have ever taken in my life. His stories kind of ramble on but he's a great guy and really knows his stuff. You have to do card reports,(Easy A),4 essays, and one exam. Also the final exam is an essay on all that we have done. TAKE HIM ! I promise you will thank me later !!

Awesome professor, does get boring, 1 poetry test super easy, and I think 4 essays. The essays are tough but he will let you re-do it if you fail. I got an A so if you're good at English take the course. I enjoyed it he's fair with all the course work and I thought the class was easy.

If you want an easy A, don't take him. His class requires work and participation. You have to read the book and do card reports and lots of writing. If you're fine with all of that then this class is for you. I personally enjoyed it. Definitely one of the best English professors in Santa Fe.

Mr. Robitaille is a great professor, You will have to put in the work, but its not hard. You can revise all essays which tend to jump a letter grade. Didnt need the book googled every work. Great class, everyone seemed to do well, take advantage of the office hours. Wrote all of my essays the night before they were due. Then revised to A+..

Awful, just awful. Incredibly rude if you miss a class. Not clear with assignments. Class is extremely boring. I had to miss class because I was subpoenaed as a witness and he wasn't understanding at all.

Warning, warning don't take him he's out of control. Doesn't seem to care about to help students. Unclear about work. There is a reason why he's classes are always still full. Avoid if you value your GPA.
