rlly good prof. 3 tests, all curved, and she tells you a lot of the material you'll need to know for the test. the final is cumulative, but she basically gives you the answers. she also drops your lowest test grade. this class is not a lot of work at all, you just need to show up and take notes bc a lot of the test material is on her lectures.

Mrs. Meier test really hard and tricky you and some of the question is didn't mention on the notes she gave and will be found on the textbook. also she is hard to approach. she also have term paper that have 8 to 10 pages and 2 extra credit essay paper. its really hassle to do but you don't have choose because you really need it if you want to pass

Shes nice but I would not recommend her as a professor. Drops lowest exam grade, one 8- 10page paper. I did not like her exams they are all basically scenarios, 50 questions. Final is 100 questions, half accumulative. Attendance isnt mandatory. Encourages you to email her for the lecture notes. Doesnt respond fast to emails. 4 Exams total.

4 tests are given, all graded on a curve, and lowest test score dropped. Multiple choice test questions that present scenario's to which you must apply your knowledge, which help you learn more than standard rote memorization. One biography essay & sends the ppt slides to your email to help you study. Take this prof if you actually want to learn

Easy class considering she curves all the exams and drops the lowest one, but not what I expected. She lectures the entire class, yet the tests are completely related to the textbook readings and all questions are application-oriented.

Is clear with expectations in Syllabus and first class meetings. Is on top of material. Drops lowest test grade, three tests, one cumulative final, extra credit ops, and one easy term paper. Expects College level behavior, if you want to surf the internet on your phone you'll get yelled at and dropped from the class, LAUSD behavior stay home.

3 tests. Curved grades. Drops lowest test. 3 hw assign. 1 individual project. 1 group project. VERY vague w/ expectations. Grades mainly on format. Is NOT clear on format. Moody. Lectures are disorganized. Half lecture/half groups. Be ready to learn through other forms. Self-taught class. Ill NEVER take her again.

The only part I found difficult was the professor. She was unclear about everything , didn't even have her own power points , they were borrowed from another professor. I did all my assignments but I missed a couple classes ended up with a C in the class. I did a 20 page term paper and also recieved a C. Sadly that was a high grade classmates got D

Not helpful and not clear when it comes to assignments. There are 3 exams, 3 homework assignments, and a critical analysis paper. Final exam is a group presentation. She doesn't explain on how to do assignments or the paper. Came out not learning a thing. Very confusing way of teaching! Do not take this class. You'll be lost all semester.

Good teacher, the book is very helpful. Went home, read the book word for word, came to class, asked questions, got an A.... that simple. She grades on a curve where the second highest grade becomes an A... so that helps a lot and is very fair. She is very knowledgeable and fair. TAKE HER for PSYCH 1

Assignments are relatively easy as long as you pay attention in class, so you can understand how to do them. Study for the tests, she gives study guide so use them and it's easy. Only real issue are the projects, they're pretty easy except that she doesn't give clear instructions on what she wants in them. Look at the examples and try to follow.

She is very nice and her class was pretty easy too. Even though I'm an ESL student I still can passed her class,so everyone can pass it too. She is helpful; u just need to ask for help if u need it. She gave extra credits which can help u with your grade. The book is mandatory everything is in the book. U just need to read it & u will be fine ^^

Really great professor. All her examples from life and professional experience relate to the subject at hand . Lectures all bear on the syllabus. Very organized. Extremely helpful and approachable, will make sure you "get it" if you are willing to ask questions or see her after class. For psych & nursing a must. Do it!

Fantastic teacher! Crystal clear, tells cool stories (that tie perfectly into the lecture) about her life and especially her children, & really cares about her students; tests are tricky, so remember to pack on a couple hours of studying before test day

If you're a pre-nursing student, listen up. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. I bought the book and touched it once. She gives out the notes through email and all exams are based off of that. Do all the exercises, term paper, and of course, do well on the exams and you'll get an A. She drops the lowest. And attendance is not mandatory.

She was a very nice and kind professor. A lot of work but if you do the work and the homework you can get an easy A. There are 3 tests and she drops the lowest one. She really cares about her students. Final was not cumulative.
