Avoid her class. She's educated and intelligent but she is unfair and doesn't use a guideline or rubric to mark your papers. I have always received A's and B's in English literature but received a D in this class. She was extremely rude to me too even though I attended all her classes. I regret not submitting for an appeal or an official complaint.

I took her ENGL 103 Class in Spring 2014. I asked for her help with my work. However, she always said I will give you my feedback tonight. I never SEEN it! More she said I will fail the course in the last class.

She's a great teacher. I've taken two classes with her and I would take a third in a heartbeat. She's so nice and easy to understand, she really wants her students to succeed! Although, sometimes she's not completely clear on what she expects, the writing is easy enough. She tells you exactly what every passage you read means, it's great!

AVOID this teacher!! She is enthusiastic about literature but the material covered in class is SO dry you will fall asleep in class. She is also not clear about what she expects in assignments and papers and marks without a rubric. She made my English class miserable when it was one of my favourite classes prior to attending her lectures.

Ms. Sen-Bachgee is enthusiastic about English, challenges with a wide variety of new literature, knows her stuff well, shows interest in students' opinions, and is good at keeping the class flowing. If you do the readings before class and hand assignments in on time (come prepared) and take notes of discussions, you will pass this class easily.

I dont know what these people are talking about! This teacher worked very hard at getting those who showed up to class, to enjoy and understand the program. If you were prepared and willing to participate and did your homework, it was simple to do well. A bit more explanation for marks would be helpful, but she would explain when asked.

I thought she was really good. You HAVE to put in the work. Grading a little unclear, but very helpful prof. Don't know what the last person to review is complaining about, she told everybody not to show up for the last class because there is no final and an assignment can easily be emailed. Show up, do the work and ask for help and you'll do fine.

She is a horrible teacher. Not helpful at all. I took her class during evening classes and she never showed up on time, didnt explain what was expected out of assignments, and when graded never told you why you got the grade you recieved. She didnt even show up the last class of the semester and told everyone to just email her the assignment.

Participate, read your assigned reading and then read it with the INTENTION of understanding it FOR the professor. If you participate and show insight, even if you have trouble writing or maintaining attention over fiction works You WILL get a B or higher. I was a B but the final exam and last essay pushed me to A-, due to participation.

The worst professor in the country. She will end class an hour early and then refuse to help you in that time. She once yelled at me for sneezing, and I am an 'A' student. Her class will ruin your day, so avoid this class!!
