Dr. Gay is absolutely amazing! She is very helpful and cares about the success of her students. She is extremely knowledgeble and can help with any questions that you have in the class. I would 100% take another course of hers. She is AWESOME

Dr. Gay is a caring individual who knows her stuff. She has reasonable, but high expectations for her students. Her assignments are the same. Her blunt personality is nothing to be afraid of. Dr. Gay is a great professor--dedicated and very intelligent in the world of math education.

She expects a lot, but is a great teacher! She knows her stuff. She is very willing to help, and even wrote me letters of rec. If you get to know her, you will realize that she is super nice and willing to help with anything! Go to class, and take good notes! She will help if you ask!

She was extremely condescending and patronizing of her students. She offered little help on assignments and gave a ton of busy work. Be sure to do the homework fully because she grades on accuracy. BEWARE she is a overly picky grader and docks points for anything she can. I felt like she made it impossible to succeed in her class. Good luck.

GREAT TEACHER! really cares that you learn the material. All material is presented in a way that is clear and quiz and test questions are similar to the homework. However, do not get on her bad side and dont let her see you with your cell phone or let it go off in class, she will literally stop teaching and stare you down.

The only useful class you'll take in the entire School of Ed. Very practical, lots of opportunities to apply knowledge. Picky grader, but it's for your benefit - imprecise language will confuse your students later (and maybe create an entry here for you someday!)
