Amazing professor, just be caught up with lecture material, as she does give pop quizzes. As well if you miss a lecture you most likely will not receive a good grade as if you miss a day you most likely miss a quiz. No makeup exams or quizzes.

Her class was not what I expected. However, it was a fun class. It was not the easiest course I've ever taken, but it was fun and I enjoyed Dr. Cook as a prof. She does have pop quizzes, but if you study, you will be fine.

Dr. Cook is one of my favorite professors. She is passionate, hilarious, and shes overall amazing! -Pop quizzes each week so go to class (little grade boosters) -lab is 1/4 of overall grade so better put in effort -honestly I used my textbook for the lab so its necessary -need to study hard for each exam but an A is attainble

Dr. Cook is an incredible professor and does a great job engaging the class even at 8am three times a week. There are pop quizzes but theyre fairly easy if you study. You have at least one quiz a week and 4 exams including the final. The textbook is not necessary for lectures.

Prof. Cook is a great professor. She knows her stuff and creates a fun environment for the class. There are 3 exams and the final replaces a low exam grade, so it is optional. She gives a lot of quizzes, but it is only to make up the fact you no homework. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

Awesome professor! She is hilarious and her lectures are never boring or dull. Pay attention to powerpoints and what she says, you will need to take additional notes to pass. Would have made higher if I didnt try to do alot during the semester. Lab is just hard in general so you will need to study and work for your grade.

She has so much information in her head that isn't spoken aloud and may be on the tests. Be very careful studying, any little thing could be on quizzes or tests. I wouldn't advise taking this prof.

She's an excellent professor & very smart, but the material is difficult, so you may feel overwhelm. There are not many tests thus you must do well in all of them. She is reasonable when it comes to grading and the test are semi-difficult, just read & study constantly and you will not have any trouble. I recommend her for any bio course.

I just needed a science credit and I loved this class!!! That's really saying something considering that took it at 8:00 a.m. She was very clear, very enthusiastic but still professional and the class was easy to pass. Would definitely recommend!!!

She is very enthusiastic. She tends to ramble but she is very excited about the material. If you e-mail her she e-mails back and she is always willing to meet with you in her office to help. Come to class and study and you'll do okay. There is a lot of work, but not by her doing...its by the department, but she works with you. Definitely take her.

Awesome prof. If you're not a bio major (like myself) she makes the material easy to learn. She teaches so well she makes you want to come to class! We only used the textbook for one mandatory assignment, most test material came from lecture.

Loved this professor! Willing to help, explained materials well. Made the class fun. I actually wanted to go to it. I made a 99%, because she made the class interesting. Don't buy the book! She uses powerpoints, all tests come from these, so if you take good notes you will do fine. Lots of quizes, so be prepared...

She teaches with powerpoints but she doesn't put them up in blackboard so you have to take diligent notes. She answers questions with clarity and she is very helpful. The tests are striaght from the ppt's so if you take careful notes you'll pass her class.

Loved this teacher. You do need to study for this class, the tests can be kind of specific but she made it really interesting and was willing to help the students that payed attention. Dont buy the book!!! just take good notes and study them!
