Teck Ky was honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am not good at math AT ALL but he was extremely helpful and was always willing to answer any questions I had. The best part about this class is that he does't make you buy an expensive calculator (he'll recommend the one he has which is about $20).

Comment:

His way of teaching makes me clear! His tests are open notes and textbook, and his tests are multiple questions. He is so funny and his textbook is super good I think. You can take with students on some quizzes, and if you ask him a question that you're not sure, he will teach you.

Teck is such a great, caring professor! The course was super challenging for me but Im just terrible at math too so.. anyway he makes the material understandable while having a great, charming attitude. Just show up to class, take notes, and practice doing the problems on the worksheets and youll be fine.

Teck Ky! What a guy :') Probably wouldn't have passed statistics without him. He's always giving examples in class to try to keep stat as entertaining as possible. "I made that up" -Teck Ky. The tests are open note, and if you understand the lecture material you cool. Definitely take his class. He really cares about his students.

Teck has to be one of the best professors i have ever had. Please take him when you have a chance to. His lectures are relatable, his personality is charming and his class is pretty easy if you do not miss any classes.

Teck Ky is really good. Do you see it? Tests are multiple choice, and he prepares you really well for them. The only issue is that he teaches only in the evening and it's hard to access him outside of class

Half the class seemed to get it and the other half didn't, so not sure if it was the teacher or the subject. Open notes on all exams, and allowed to work with a partner for quizzes. Just don't miss any classes or you'll fall behind, or miss a surprise quiz or lab.

Professor Ky obviously cares for the success of his students. On the first day of class, he added everyone on the waitlist. The classroom was packed. Understandably, he cannot grade his math test individual with partial credit and all your test are on scantrons. This makes each question worth a huge part of your grade, so watch out for that.

I dropped his class the second time, last time it was math10, now it's math12. His teaching method is just not my style! No extra or partial credit, all multiple choice! And I don't understand how we can study if we don't know how we did on our quizzes and hw?! I've been getting As every math classes I took, but I got a D at his class.

The class is really boring. But if you pay attention through it and take notes, you'll be fine. The tests are super straight forward and he lets you use your notes/the textbook.

Your grade depends almost exclusively on two midterms and a final. The homework/labs mean very little. He doesn't try to trick you and everything is straight forward. It's all multiple choice though so no partial credit. Notes allowed on tests so he's prob the easiest stats teacher.

He's a good professor but it's really easy to mess up in his class. 2 midterms and a final. All multiple choice. So if you make some mistakes you get ZERO partial credit. Push hard and you can get at least a B

Love him. He's so kind and his lectures are super clear. He's always around for office hours in the math lab to help on homework. Would take him again! I'm not good at statistics, but I passed the class no problem.

Prof Ky always tries to make his lectures clear and understandable. Often tells silly jokes to kill the tension of the class. However, he moves really quickly from one lecture to another so make sure you attend class and take detailed notes. Always curves the tests if he sees your effort. Got a B+ even when I failed my midterm. Take him

Book is useless for formulas but need it for homework. Be in class to take NOTES for better understanding of what he teaches &. he keeps you interested. Office hours is at the math lab & he's very helpful to explain what you don't get. 2 midterms(averages both), final, labs, quizes & hw. Do all those, STUDY & you will pass. GREAT STATS TEACHER!

The class is easy to pass, real TOUGH & TRICKY for an A. 2 midterms with 20 tricky questions, and a final. He'll chose 2 highest scores, then average them to get your third's, which is generous of him. However, the way he explains the concept is unclear; the more he explains, the harder it is to understand. I got a B+, and know nothing about stats
