Comment:
Dr. Fry gives vague and confusing lectures and then tests you on that material as well as expecting you to read the book. He often talks about his conservative political views and can be very rude to students. I would definitely avoid him if possible, not worth the trouble.

Fry has a lot of experience in the industry. He doesn't use a ton of powerpoints, its all just in class lectures. He does a decent job of examples. He uses Pearson online homework which does nothing to help. Also, he's not afraid to talk about his very conservative political view points which can be a lot. Test heavy, you'll need to study.

I had to make a second review about this man because he sucks so badly. His final is worth 40% of your grade, and he makes it ridiculously hard. He also states on the syllabus that an A is a 90, but in class will tell you his scale is sliding (at the end he can make a 92 an A instead). He's incredibly inconsistent and I don't think I learned much.

He may be the worst business professor I've had. He makes fun of students for their looks/weight/ethnicity. He expects you to attend lectures, but the lectures don't pertain to the textbook, which you are also expected to read and be tested on. I showed up to office hours every week and several times he wasn't even there and didn't leave a note.

Do not take MGSC with this professor. Take another block or fail. His lectures are all over the place and have nothing to do with the exams which count 90% of the class grade. He's sarcastic and mean to his students.

To be honest the class is tough but Mr. Fry is an interesting guy. Apparently he knows how tough the class is and the class is mandatory for business student no matter your major. Thus, he grades very kindly.

Dr. Fry was a funny guy but as a teacher he was terrible. None of the material made any sense the way he taught it. He seemed to know it really well, but not how to explain it to students. The tests are also EXTREMELY difficult but he curves them a ridiculous amount.

Dr. Fry is absolutely hilarious! Instead of just lecturing off slides, he likes to involve the students in the material as well. Beware if you are an accounting major; he likes to call on them a lot! The lectures are lighthearted and are not directly related to the tests, so make sure to review the textbook before them.

Terrible teacher. He pokes fun at students, sometimes in extremely offensive and rude ways. The tests are not really related to what you discuss in class, and are curved by at least 15-20 points, because he would rather make an extremely hard test than one that reflects what has been taught. He truly enjoys making his students look stupid.

This class is not hard. There are pop quizzes on the chapters but you have the ability to earn way more than a 100% quiz grade. Mine was over 100 and I made 0s on some. Test come from the book, final is very hard, curves every test graciously. Fairly easy to make an A if you take book notes. Does poke fun at people which is mildly entertaining.

Avoid him. Subject matter is not that hard, but his teaching is unhelpful and the HW/book vs. what he puts on the test is a total mismatch. Test grades are heavily curved, thankfully. It feels like an immature high school class where he likes to poke fun at sorority girls and sometimes he makes bigoted comments that have nothing to do with anything

Don't take him if you're easily offended or don't want to put it the effort for an A. He picks on students during lectures but when you actually get to talk to him he genuinely cares about your success in and outside of class. Incredibly intelligent, been in the field for years, great stories, would highly recommend.

Dr. Fry is a paradox. You'll hate him, up until the end, because he doesn't give templates for the project - doesn't hold you by the hand - forces you to actually learn on your own. BAM! Right at the end, when you've finished that huge workload project, the light will come on. You'll realize he was Yoda, teaching you how to be a PM Jedi.

He lets you out early and the homework isn't difficult, but beware of the pop quizzes. I'm still not sure what they counted for, but he gave one almost every class. He was never very clear about how he was grading things, but there was a big curve on every test. I'm pretty sure he really enjoys making his students feel stupid. Not a fan at all.

He expects you to talk in class but then makes you feel dumb if you don't have the right answer. Don't take him if you are afraid to be called on. The test aren't crazy hard but you need to go to class if you want to pass the last two test. Online homework is weekly and is a killer if you miss it.

Tim fry is a bit quirky. He tells a lot of unrelated stories in between regular class content mostly to keep things interesting. He can be borderline inappropriate at times but he never crosses the line. He's absolutely hilarious most days. Incredibly tough grader. Class is on a curve but that doesn't leave you any less demoralized come test day.
