This teacher was terrible. You try and study for your tests, but guess what? You still won't do as well as you'd hoped. He's a tough grader and all the tests are closed book which makes no sense since it's an ONLINE class. There's one essay he gives you and that counts as a test. Mostly a bs paper, but I guess it gives you some points. Don't take.

honestly had him for two psych classes and found him to be unorganized and busy. He puts a lot on his plate which is not a bad thing but in this case it is. He is to occupied by other things going on in his life and does not take time or seem to really care about his classes this semester seeing he is teaching 8 of them. Nice person do not recommen

Dr. Walter is hands down one of the best professors at DYouville. Teaches you everything you need to know for exams, which are difficult but easy to get and A if you put in the work and study. He is absolutely hilarious and very easy to talk to and get along with. Uses life examples to help you better understand. Totally reccommend.

Comment:

Dr. Walter is by far one of my favorite professors. He is very laid back but when it comes to learning he loves to teach and help you understand more about the material. The psych assessment class really helped me move forward with understanding what I want as a career. Highly recommended taking this class or any class with him.

Such a good professor for psychology! He makes the topics in developmental psych easy to understand by relating them to real-life topics and stories. He doesn't take attendance but there IS a participation grade. The tests are based on the provided outlines and the book isn't vital, but it's definitely a help. I would take him again for sure!

I've taken a few of Dr. Walters classes so far and they are all a breeze. He doesn't give extra credit (you don't need it). But he excessively uses unhelpful personal anecdotes (specifically about his children) and complains a lot about his life (feeling overwhelmed, having little time to get things done) & occasionally makes offensive comments.

I have taken 3 courses with Dr. Walter and he is absolutely fantastic. If you go to class and pay attention, that is pretty much all you need! His tests are right off of his notes and lectures. He is extremely helpful and relates course topics to his life and other real-life situations which makes them interesting. I would highly recommend him!

Text book use is minimal if you go to class regularly because he tests over what he covers on his outlines on black board. He isn't especially difficult and is highly entertaining. Only problem is that I was between letter grades, off by 0.4 points and he DIDN'T round me to the A! That is just wrong because I was technically over the .5 marker.

took lots of classes with him! i can offically say he is the best teacher I've ever had in my entire life! great guy, love the stories and love his kids lol! He always makes class interesting no matter what. gives you everything you need to pass. I want to be just like him!

He is a great teacher who is able to make his lectures fun with his interesting stories. He is one of the nicest teachers I have had so far and as a psychology major I keep trying to pick classes he teach because i know i wont be bored and the class is easy also
