I have mix feelings about Prof.Mcgowan. I really liked him at first, but towards the end of the semester I got frustrated with his teachings and his class. He is also really unorganized. He definitely wants the best for his students, but its often hard to understand him in class. His paper's prompts are also pretty tough.

Dr. McGowan is enthusiastic and passionate about his work and his students. Sometimes it's difficult to find him - office hours seemed a tad inconsistent - but he has his students' best interests at heart and will always help when he can. He can't dance at all, though.

Comment:

One of the best professors at Rhodes College. They just don't come better than Tom McGowan. His courses, and his unwavering support truly changed my life. Take a service-learning class with him if you get the chance, and you will see what I mean.

fantastic - one of the best i ever had in my 4 years at rhodes. he is incredibly enthusiastic and makes class enjoyable. plus, he is very supportive of all his students. participating in one of his service-learning classes could change your life.
