I had this class every day and could only have 5 absences the whole semester. Nice woman but pretty scatter brained. She is very nice and helpful to those who already know a lot of Spanish, but rude to those who seem to not be as fast of learners. There is a lot of work, and the tests (4) total up to only 45% of final grade

Veronica Leon has been the worst professor I have ever had. She's rude, and very demanding. She is not willing to help in class, and is very confusing in her lectures. She speaks way to fast for anyone in a beginner Spanish class to understand and follow what she wants us to do. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Leon is really nice, and is really big on following the syllabus. She's willing to help with issues, and will go to great lengths to make sure her students aren't confusedstruggling if they approach her about a problem. Take her class!

Knows her stuff; kind, engaging, and a great teacher. Not hard if you attend class, listen to lectures, and do the online homework. One easy online homework (takes 30 mins or less) due each week. 6 quizzes and three tests, which she reviews for and is very clear about what she expects. She's great with spanish and sparking your interest - take her!

Loved Doctora León! She was not everyones favorite because she does require participations and hard work. However, you can get an A without straining yourself too much. As a Spanish minor, I really felt my time in her class was well spent. She is very understanding and forgiving. Would recommend for anyone who has an interest in Spanish.

She is very strict and gives a lot of homework. Do the homework, go to class, go to her office/set appt, and you will do good in her class. She's always willing to help! Don't eat snacks/candy in her class, makes her mad. She's passionate about helping u learn Spanish. this class isn't easy.

I think Dra. Leon is amazing. She has a true passion for teaching Spanish. Your grade in the class is based a lot on how much you improve in Spanish. If you show you are trying and make improvements in your speaking, half of your grade is already secure. I believe anyone majoring/minoring in Spanish should have her as a professor!!
