I went into this online class very excited to write my own poems and stories. Vinnie pointed out at the beginning that he had 50+ students so therefore we would basically be teaching ourselves, no feedback! Assignments had nothing to do with creative writing, but a lot of critiquing other writers' work. Sadly, I dropped this class the first day.

Worst teacher ever! I dropped his class because there is something seriously wrong with this guy. He needs professional help. He was too busy talking about himself and how his surgery had changed his life, blah blah blah!

Can be a little confusing at times, but once you get to know the flow, it wasn't bad. Feedback did take awhile, but it was usually constructive. Not my favorite teacher, but I've had much worse.

Hated him. Played favorites. Never gave feedback. I felt that my writing only got better because we had to write so much. Not because of anything he did. The ONLY thing I liked about his class was that he gave us access to smarthinking. That online writing lab is what helped my writing, not him.

He is a tenured teacher who doesn't proof read his assignments or e-mails. His assignments are also convoluted. Additionally, he required students to pay to attend his play for extra credit which had nothing to do with english then lied to his supervisor stating he required a written report. How unethical!

Must be a good writer to get an A. Hard working is not enough. However, very clear on assignments explaning and due dates. I would recommend if your a good writer, if you want a A but is not a good writer don't take him. Conservative grading
