Tests are HARD. For some questions, it is really easy to tell what is the answer. Other questions, anything could be the answer. You actually need to know a lot, study a lot and hopefully you can do well. He wants you to do well, but he seems like he'd much rather be somewhere else. Do you blame him? I sure don't.

not the sunniest professor I've ever encountered at Pierce, but still fairly nice. Attendance is really important. Liked the movies better in the beginning of the class, but they were all pretty good (just more depressing towards the end). Just go to class and you should be alright.

Snooze-ville. Oh my god. Oh my god, this class...this class, this class oh my god. I'd say it's the easiest class ever, but sitting through it was incredibly difficult and painful. Completely ruins films that aren't that impressive to begin with. But if you like doing nothing on Friday and getting honors credit at the same time, ay forget about it.

He wants to give everybody A’s. Class is not that easy. You have to pay attention, take good notes, and study his study guide. The paper is not that hard. Just find someone who took the class before and get the tests. He curves each test. You will learn a lot in his class. Do not worry that much about the class you should be able to pull of an A.

Big fat NO to the last rating. Nothing brilliant about chopping up a film to back up a single simplistic theory not having to do with anything. Really don’t need to read 6+ lengthy pages of web text on why Billy Bob Thorton is gay and doesn’t know it. By the way, only real required reading in the class. Useless, meaningless info. I didn't take honors because of time constriction but if you can you should. Really nice guy. Kind of boring, but it depends on who you have in your class. He is really easy and if you ever have any question he will answer them.If you take this class always bring food and a blanket to use when you watch the movie.
