A very approachable and fair professor who answers your questions willingly. Exams are from the his lectures and the book and class notes.

monotone voice, very boring lectures, exam is hard requires lots of reading and taking notes, lots of writing in the exam. this class is pointless and waste of time. i dont see a way of paying attention to his lectures for more than 10 min.!

Professor Brenner is a great guy. Interesting lectures, laid back group work making discussions comfortable and easy to participate in. His legal experience is quite obvious, love hearing his stories. There are 2 exams, 1 research paper and a hypothetical group discussion/project. Fun & interesting class. I learned a lot.

Good professor! Interesting lectures. You must take good notes, though, material covered in class is on the exams. Wish he provided a Study guide.

Comment:
Very smart and pleasant to listen to. The book he selected for the class is phenomenal-very well written. One small criticism is that he needs to allow students to interact a bit more. Say 80% him speaking and 20% students. He answers his own rhetorical questions. I highly recommend him. I learned a lot from him.

One of the best professor at UMBC. Very nice guy. Has a lot of interesting stories. Work load: 2 exams, hypotheical case + paper, and 1 research paper. A class you will want to attend because there are materials that he covers in class that isnt covered in the book. For exams you have to read and go over your notes. Easy, but have to work for it

Work load: 2 exams, paper, 5 quizzes and "group project".Lectures are very boring and mostly pointless. It takes him hours to talk about basic concept, that would take others 15 mins. Blabs a lot about legal things. Class is not so bad,if you manage to find something to do during boring lectures

really good professor-Assistant Attorney General and Chief of Securities. highly knowledgeable, witty, and interesting. he is very much a lawyer at times (beats some points to death), but his lectures are long lasting. stay on top of things and do well

Keeps class interesting with case studies. Semi-easy exams. Easy projects count for big points. Read a Grisham, do short summary...and group case study with role playing...kinda cool. =) Wonderful man.
