Comment:

Love Wade he's hilarious and provides examples that are very relatable. As long as you do the reading and pay attentions in the lectures you will know everything on exams. Anyone who said there was a lot of stuff on tests that we didn't learn need to show up for lectures.

Comment:

Wade is a beyond awesome prof, down to earth (known for his vulgarity, but it's honestly great), easy to talk to, inspirational and knows more about the mind than anyone I've ever come across. For his opening class last semester he read our minds, literally. Textbook reading is expected but you for sure learn alot from 3 hours with Lorenzo!

Comment:

I love Lorenzo as a person. He is by far one of the most amazing people I have had the privilege to learn from. Though his lectures are tangential and his tests cover a lot of things not covered in class, he is a great guy and a grade A teacher.

AMAZING professor. He was super fun and kept the course very interesting. However, you do have to study for the tests! The course consists of 3 "midterms" which make up your entire grade. BUT if you show up to class he basically tells you EXACTLY what is on every test.

I took his communications class, it was ironic since he was terrible at communicating with me as a student. It was pretty terrible and a complete waste of time.

Wade is a great psychologist, he will show you all the theory other profs teach you while talking to you, but do not get fooled by how much fun the class is you sill have to read all your chapters and be text book ready for your test

Wade is one of my favourite profs and he's so entertaining in class. I found myself excited for the lectures. He marks fairly and if you study for the midterms you'll do great. The only thing I wish he would've done is go over some of the content more, i found I had to teach myself some of the content on my own time.

Wade is one of my favourite profs and he knows his stuff. There is a lot of midterms but as long as you study you'll pass. He marks very easy on written, the multiple choice is the hard part. The lectures are entertaining and he cuts them short often, I do wish he would spend more time teaching considering most of the test he's never talked about

Wade is awesome! I honestly never used the textbook, it wasn't needed. He has made powerpoint slides that the test is directly based off of. He posts those slides on blackboard, so there's no need to really take notes either. He gives tons of examples and keeps the class fun. He's an extremely fair marker on the written portions of the test.

Wade is really funny and easy-going. Be ready to teach a lot to yourself because he does not really teach in class. He does not show you how to read minds as he promises. He usually lets you leave early. Nice person and fair marking.

Wade is super funny and gives a lot of examples that you can relate to and understand easily. He does let classes out about a half hour early, sometimes even more. He does not go over all the material in class but his slides on blackboard are exactly what he tests on. Super easy if you're willing to put in the work just like every other class!

Never showed up for class and when he did the 80 minute class that I paid for was cut down to 30. Terrible teacher but he was funny and quirky. Need to read the book to get anything over a 50.

Wade is an easy marker because he does not teach the material. He assigns student presentations and the rest of the time you are wasting your time being in class. He lets students out early all the time to avoid teaching. If you like easy marks but not much to learn take his class. Wade is a therapist; he doesn't care much about his teaching job.

Wade says he has plenty of life experience but it's as if he has 0 teaching experience. Does not teach the curriculum AT ALL, you'll have to learn for yourself. He gives interesting stories and weird personal details with little to no time on important stuff. If you want to actually learn psychology, this is NOT the class for you. A waste of time..

Wade is a great person but horrible professor. He doesn't teach anything at all. Incorrectly teaches material in class then marks it wrong on the exam. Dont waste your time going to class instead read the textbook. Wade also doesn't respond to emails. Has a lot of life experiences but I don't understand how they let someone like this teach

Wade is a funny guy, which makes you think the class will be exciting and easy. He really doesn't talk much about the material in class, instead links it improperly to real life experiences as a psychologist. He fails to provide any guidelines for exams other than a few hints for the written portion (listen to these, they'll come in handy)

Wade is super funny, and made the lectures a ton of fun, but he is a horrible professor. What you learned in class was not on the test, ever. His tests were hard, but he marked the assignments fairly. You basically do not even need to come to his class because it is a waste of time since he ended his three hour lectures within the first 30 mins.

Wade Lorentzon is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I makes every class enjoyable and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very open and likes everyone to be aswell. Nicest teacher out there forsure!
