Prof Rowley is funny and energetic! If you go to class and do the work, you're going to pass. You're graded on an essay (topic of your choice-he gives you time to write it in class!), homework assignments (checked for completion.. really easy if you pay attention during class), midterm & final (these are short; all material is gone over in class).

Rowley is a cool guy- very passionate about his field and I respect that! Participation in discussion REALLY matters. Point deduction for overall grade adds up very easily. Homework was easy, but kind of annoying- one page reflection for every class session. I'd say this course was a bit much for a 101, but it probably just wasn't my cup of tea.

This professor is extremely energetic, which is amazing because you can hardly get these professors. If you have him, itll be a breeze. Great professor who cares about his students, makes lectures exciting & engaging through his positive and loud(and I mean LOUD) energy.

Take him! He is the sweetest and really cares about his students. He is also really funny. The book is needed but it very small and cheap. Daily one page reaction on the reading of each philosopher is assigned . Tests are SUPER easy and provides a study guide. If you can memorize you will pass. An easy A class with a great professor.

Just do the homework and attend lectures. His midterms and finals are very easy because he tells you exactly what's on it. It's just based on memorization. He assigns a paper, but grades it very leniently. Easy A.

Rowley is amazing. Makes the material fun and interesting to learn. Textbook only needed for the homework, I never read the lessons unless I missed class. Lectures are short but effective. Take notes and do all the homework!! Tells you exactly what's on the 2 exams. Only 1 paper. Lenient grader. Put forth effort & this class is easy.

He does a great job at what he does. He tries his best to teach difficult material. Rowley is very helpful if you don't understand something; he's very approachable. The textbook is needed for hw and some reading, but I found a pdf to the whole book online for free and just used my laptop. Overall, a great professor.

This subject is very confusing but hes always ready to help. He is hilarious and makes the class worth going to. I don't recommend missing class. I found the textbook online. You don't need to participate and I was always on my phone. If you pay attention and do the hw you'll get an A. There are two exams and one five page paper.

I enjoyed this class alot, probably my favorite class yet. The material is challenging but Rowley tries to make it as easy to follow as possible. Also he assigns alot of hw but when he checks it he simply browse to see if you've tried. Just do the assignments and go to class and you'll get an A :)

He's very nice and caring. TRIES to make easy. However the content is VERY difficult. If you miss class/don't pay attention you will NOT understand. Not the logic I expected. Its math with letters. You either know it or don't, no guessing. You WILL need to study and do all cw/hw. You WILL need to pull all-nighters. Book can be found for free online

Professor Rowley is awesome! He keeps the class engaged with his humor. The subject is somewhat tough to understand. Make sure you pay attention and ask questions. There is an argumentative essay, it is easy because he created an outline for us. Other components of your grade consist of homework (LOTS but manageable), midterm, and final.

Great Professor. Makes a dull subject like Logic interesting and manageable. We work with our peers which helps when studying and are unsure of something or need clarification. Hes willing to help and will get to know everyone that shows up. No study guide but redo the hw and youre fine. Book needed but he will say where you can get it for cheap!

The subject itself is challenging but professor Rowley does a great job at trying to make it as understandable as possible. Flashcards are very important!! 1 midterm, 1 5-6 pg paper, a final, and some homework throughout the semester. As draining as the homework may seem, practicing the material only helped me do better in the course.

So easy, just don't skip class because he takes 3% of your final grade off every time you miss. You start off with an extra 6% though, so you get two free absences. Homework is easy and so is the paper and 2 exams.

He is a great teacher and like I said above his syllabus outlines everything you need to know. I think there is only one homework in the beginning that causes trouble, but other than that the rest of the class goes smoothly if you go to class. His lectures get to the point, and aren't that long. He makes this class enjoyable.
