Comment:

One of the best professors at Hcc. I took his lecture online and lab at central. It's far from me, but it was worth it. Quizzes and exams are easy. He makes his lectures lively with his small jokes. I would definitely take him again. He made my last semester at Hcc peaceful.

He is the best professor at HCC. Having taken him for CHEM 1305 online, PHYS 1305 online and Lab CHEM 1105. His lab is easy but you need to do a few works. Turn in your paper due every week with good preparation and you will be fine. He will answer your questions whenever you need help. Best professor ever!

Took his online class there was only 4 exam and 4 quizzes throughout the course and your lowest exam grade is dropped. He provides practice exams and quizzes the relatively looks like the actual assignment. Overall get a glimpse of the textbook (not really) but use outside resources to be successful.

The labs are 80% of your grade, and the 2 tests weigh 20% of your grade. If you do not show up, you are not able to turn in the lab, so you need to be there EVERY TIME. No extra credit, but it isn't hard.

took the online class. only some answers to the quizzes and tests were online, even chegg wasn't much help. there were 5 quizzes and 4 tests. he DOES NOT give extra credit. this ruined my gpa, so be smart and run away!!

Great teacher. The class is easy if you review everything he posts online. The quiz and test dates sneak up on you, so make you pay attention. He drops one test grade, which was pretty awesome. I would totally take him again!

He is a very caring professor. He was really understanding and tried his best to help me out, which I really appreciate. Being a single mom is extremely hard, and its nice to know that your teachers have your back. Pay attention to the quiz and test dates and you will be fine!

He is the worst he grades labs so critically and he gives only 5 questions for his test which is handwritten no multiple choice. He is so uncaring, i asked him for help and he said to look it up online. worst professor EVERRRR

Im not good in chemistry at ALL I took it online to learn it at my pace. Tests questions are like the review but online helps just swap numbers to get the answers. 5 (12-15)quizzes every other week over the weekend. 4 test every other other week (30 questions). enough time. No final. Just quiz. Honestly enough time to do it & take other classes.

He's such a sweet old man. The labs are easy, just be careful because he can be really picky with grading and he can chop off a lot of points for something stupid. Take him!!! His labs and exams are really easy!

Its possible to go through the class feeling like you didnt learn like I read someone wrote, but if you read the chapters and do practice exams then you really do learn still. It was a good class.

I shouldn't complain this was the easiest A I ever received. I read the fist 3 chapters then stopped after that. Every question to the test and quizzes easily found on google. I wanted to learn CHEM but at last taking a 16 credit course load I found the easy way out on this one. Take if you need an easy A but not if you need to actually know CHEM.

Wish there was some homework or assignment examples other than the practice test and quizzes, as someone who previously took chemistry, this class was rather a challenge as a refresher course. I suggest you have a lot of time set aside to study, you will need to do a lot of independent study and practice. Would take professor again as needed.

This class was fun and the tests and quizzes were pretty easy. Just study her reviews she posts and go over the practice exam and you should be good. It would also be more helpful if you read the chapter in your textbook.
