Comment:

Because there are 4 quizzes and 3 tests, grading can be tricky if you don't get the hang of it right away. However, Dr. Kelly is one of my favorite profs at Flagler. He is always breaking down difficult concepts into simpler terms. He will always stop and explain something if you don't get it. He is a great storyteller, I wish he was my grandpa.

there are only three exams one being the final and four 10 point quizzes the material is not hard but you have to do well on the exams. He is really fun in class and is really nice.

Comment:

Dr. Kelly is hands down the best professor Ive ever had. I would be an Econ major if he taught every class. His class is well organized. You always know when things are due and what is expected. The class is paper heavy but the papers are short, excluding the semester long term paper. But his lectures are funny and his tests are cake.

I just don't feel like his teaching is for everyone. Especially with this topic it might not click for everyone. Do not take this class as a freshman. Many advisors told me after I began this class that it was a bad idea to take this so early in my college career. So if you only look at good comments then go ahead but I warned you.

Comment:

Dean Kelly is one of the few professor I've had the pleasure to learn under that uses the Feynman technique of teaching: being able to teach dense topics in simple terms. This is really evident in his textbook, that uses unorthodox examples and basic language to make the material easier to understand. He is a very experienced teacher. Take him!

He is great. His tests - 1 to 1 you heard in the class. The book he wrote is very easy to read and understand. No homework. 4 quizzes are easy and will boost your grade. There is a lot of fun in the class.

Professor Kelly is amazing. He breaks down everything into a very easy way that any student can get an A. If you buy the book, all you have to do is follow it and you will do fine. If you don't buy the book, you just have to listen and take notes in lecture. He is always available to students and is wonderful! I highly recommend any course with him

One of the best professors at Flagler College. So clear, so personable, so smart. Down-to-earth. To do well on tests, make sure you analyze every question carefully. Tremendous learning experience and the most rewarding A I received in 5 1/2 years at Flagler.
