I took a chance on taking this professor and ended up just dropping to save myself. I love math, but this teacher was making me hate it. I have never felt so stupid for asking a question, he literally replied "how do you not understand this?"

He shows favoritism and he doesn't provid help if u ask for it all he says is look at the notes even tho he dnt take roll how would he kno if the person is asking for help since he or she wasn't there. i know math fairly well and i passed this class in high school with ease but when i had to take it with Shing i Failed! and i wasnt the only one in the class. out of 35+ students only 9 of us remained in his class till the end and didnt drop. You cannot understand him with his accent and the way he words things. I WOULD NOT TAKE HIS CLASS EVER

OK, Singh is not as bad as everyone says he is. He does have a heavy accent and sometimes doesn't understand what you are asking, but he knows his math, he's steady paced, and he will make sure you know the material, just pay closer attention to his words, theres not alot of homework and he doesnt grade it, but do it and you will do fine
