She is great! Ann is always available to answer question and surprisingly, I like how she mixes up taking notes with group learning and problem solving. I would definitely take her again.

Take this class if you want to teaching yourself the material. She has you rely on assigned groups to learn concepts, which doesn't work when the group has no idea what is going on. She assigns problems that she doesn't even know how to do. This was the worst math class I've ever taken. Be prepared to spend 10+ hours/week outside of class on it

Took Ann for summer Calc 1 class and she was the best instructor I have had for Math...ever. She puts a lot of effort into her class and expects a lot back. I would recommend to anyone going into higher math because she lays a great foundation.

Comment:

Excellent teacher that works hard and cares about her students and the material. There is a lot o group work. She grades based on how you exhibit an understanding of the problems, not on technicalities. Awesome class, seriously one of the best instructors I have taken to date.

She's one of those instructors that thinks that "its her way or the highway". Her method of forcing people into groups to work together is hard on those that do not like and/or want to study the material in such a manner. I made the mistake of staying after expressing my displeasure early on, and was ostracized for it. Avoid if you dislike groups!

I liked Ann. She is nice and helpful. I just didn't like how she didn't explain problems very well, she wasn't thorough. She would skip steps assuming you knew what was going on. But other than that she was a good teacher, probably wouldn't take her again though.

Excellent approach to teaching! She made all my math classes more fun and easy to understand. Ann is also quite hot, as I realized when she removed her jacket in class, revealing truly excellent well-toned arms (WOW)!

Fantastic! when i took math 252, i realized how much i took her for granted. she knows her stuff so well, she doesn't skirt any question. She always has the patience for any question dumb or tricky. i just wish she taught my math 252 class!

I haven't taken any of her classes but she helped me get an A in both MTH 111C and 112. She even offered to loan me a text book for the summer. She is a wounderful person and from what i can gather a great teacher. You rock Ann, but the tutor center won't be the same in the fall. One question, when you come back will it be Dr. or Professor Sitomer?
