She does have a weekly test but its open note on the canvas. Ten-page essay will stretch your mind about an object of your choosing at the end of the semester. Very nice and approachable. Makes the classroom alive, she earn your money and makes learning engaging. Three separate writing tasks but the assignment are clear what to do. (Attendance )

Had grave family news come my way the last weekend of finals. She had no heart or soul for it, thought I made excuses, and my grade dropped a whole letter because of it. I still passed, but she didn't have sympathy with giving extra time when I found out my dad has a disease.

Professor Todd made rhetorical criticism incredibly engaging and relatable to public discourse. She's fun, energetic, and unapologetically herself. However, in my class she made an extra effort to distance her political views from the classroom to effectively create a safe environment. She really cares for her students. Participation is crucial.

Awesome Professor! She is funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable about the subject (Rhetorical Criticism). Make sure you take Dr. Todd for a course at some point, you will find that she makes class fun and the material easy to understand.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, esp. during election year. You'll spend the entire semester on politics and nothing else. She spends more time discussing middle-school-level persuasion tactics in politics & way less than needed on actually explaining assignments/grading. To AMT: If 1/2 the class leaves during the breaks, seriously revise your lesson plan.

Gloabal Climate Change class one of the hardest classes out there. But Prof Todd is awesome, when it is her day of lecturing you get some sort of relief because her teaching style is great. she is kinda tough on writing, but she helps you if you go to her office hours.

I think this Climate Change class is one of the coolest/hardest classes I've ever taken. Dr. Todd & Co. (3 instructors) are awesome, but demanding. Come correct if you're an A student, because a B is in your future otherwise. Dr. Todd is tough on writing, but it really helps your career in the long run!

This class is worth more credits than you'll get. A LOT of reading, and hard tests. The grading of writing assignments is extremely hard, so don't be surprised if you won't get your normal grade. There will be a public debate in the end. If you take this class, you have to be highly motivated.

I took Professor Todd in summer. I really admire her for her passion for teaching. Taking her during the summer was really helpful and i really learned alot from her teachings. She is a great professor and is very funny, looked forward to attending her class since she made it so interesting.Higly recommend this teacher and this course.

Professor Todd rocks! I was first freaked out when taking this class in the summer, but she made the class pretty interesting and workload is quite a bit busy. It definitely helps me a lot to improve my writing skills. However, I agree that she seems pretty goofy, but she's a nice and helpful teacher. Highly recommended!

Great Instructor! She keeps the class moving in a fast pace and makes the material interesting. She's a bit goofy which I can totally relate to myself. I would highly recommend Professor Todd for Comm 100W. Don't expect an easy class. This class is hard no matter who you choose as an instructor.

Relied on academic journals solely as textbook - obtuse/difficult. We only took 3 ideas from most of them, yet had to try to read and understand the entire articles. Ugh! Provided study guides for tests which seemed just slightly off the test questions. Tests are DIFFICULT. AMT is quick witted, mostly upbeat. I laughed a lot - group work was fun.

Excellent professor, what is not to like about Todd? I still use the articles out of her assigned course reader (3 semesters after I've taken her!). She makes you think and feeds your mind with info that goes beyond most common env'l readings. GREAT!!!!

She definitely has her mood swings..sometimes really nice, sometimes real mean for no reason. She's definitely entertaining but I don't think she teaches that well b/c I didn't learn anything from her class and her exams were too hard.
