She is very unclear with paper prompts. Like what do you want us to do? Too many papers, and doesn't realize not everyone is on the same page as she is. She uses outlines but always goes off in a tangent. Also, she says "Um" way too much, it makes it seem like she has no idea what she is talking about, lastly barely answers any questions.

UDW course Writing Women's Lives. Though the structure is largely determined by your individual research topic, Jabour offers invaluable guidance in creating a 25-35 page body of work while transforming your writing skills into something to be proud of. Research skills are honed and the art of historical writing can be developed. Loved this course.

As much as I didn't like the class, Anya Jabour is a great professor. She really knows what she's talking about, and expects you to learn it well. Lots of extra credit if you're willing to work for it. She's funny in an offbeat way. She does grade your papers harshly though.

Anya is a wonderfully gifted professor. Her class is very difficult, but she will turn you into an excellent writer. Don't listen to the reviewer who wrote that she "yelled" in class; that is preposterous. Be prepared for a rigorous reading schedule and lots of precise prose!

I'm sorry but one weekend is NOT enough time to assign a 10 page midterm. I have work and other classes, I can't drop everything and devote my life to your essay!

This woman taught me how to write. I owe any good writing improvements to her and Dr. Mayer. The course was hard, don't be fooled by a rave review. If a person wants to learn how to write an essay of length well, then take her writing classes.

She talked about herself and her opinion the entire time. She tried to persuade her students on what she thought was right. Always put up ads concerning groups that she thought were great and if someone dared to talk a stand, she would yell.
