When I first went into Ms. Browning's class, I was scared to death of her. She holds you to high standards and you can tell when she is disappointed in you. But once we got further into the semester and into MUT2, you could see the love she had for all of us. I then had her for piano lessons and she was always there for me to offer advice about my music journey and just life in general. She has become my favorite teacher! I couldn't have gotten through last semester without her! So thankful.

Mrs. Browning is an excellent teacher.I will take her for all levels of theory because she is so thorough.She makes sure you've learned the material to prepare you for the next chapter and the next level of theory.Sure she's a little bit nuts (and she admits it lol) but she will help you if you just ask.Theory is hard,you have to want to learn it.

Overall a good class. She can be a little intimadating at times but once you get to know her she's pretty nice. I've totally bombed her sight singing tests and still end up with an A. She's pretty helpful with preparing you for the test but sometimes you do need to work on your own.

The negative comments about Mrs. Browning are not true at all. She is very good at teaching, but if you are not interested in learning, and are looking for an easy A, don't take her class. If you actually want to learn and are willing to give it your best, she is a perfect match. Great quality!

She is easily the most impatient professor in the entire music program. Not clear at all when she tells you what to do and if you don't do everything exactly perfect the first time she gives you the music, she will lash out at you. She is very rude and sarcastic / unprofessional. I had her for private piano lesson and do not recommend.

It is time for an update. I felt that these other comments were incredibly rude and not true to the real character of Mrs. Browning. She has been the best theory teacher I have had thus far in my education. Coming from a prestigious music school, I took her Musicianship II class and found her to be far better than any of my previous professors.

she's not a bad teacher, just a bit sarcastic in personality. Also impatient at times, which is what i expect with most of my music teachers, lol the creative temperament. But very fair and tries to make sure everyone is keeping pace together, and is comprehending everything. Overall great teacher.

She is by far the worst vocal teacher I have ever had. She constantly makes you feel bad about yourself if you aren't what she believes to be acceptable. Not only is she rude, but she's cruel, and comments unnecessarily on your appearance (weight especially). I hope she reads this one day and realizes just how horrible of a teacher she really is!
