Comment:

Easy class, good teacher. Can get lazy. Once the first few people provide answers, everyone else just gives the same answer with different wording. I once went out of my way to find a more thorough answer and answer with something different and I was given negative feedback for it - I don't get it. Basically, be a robot and do the robot work.

I've taken a class with Professor Klemm two times, and I can truly say she is an excellent educator, very helpful, very encouraging, wish more professor were like her. Willing to help you with any questions you have, answers emails quickly. Gives clear instructions for assignments. I would recommend her to everyone.

Lots of reading, but you just need to do 1 chapter a week. and you will be ready. the mid term and final are a little difficult and are more than just the terms to know, but its passable and I learned a lot in this class. I had fun learning about all the things you see mentioned in movies. well worth the time for this class

This class was a lot of reading. The book was a bit tough to follow and it wasnt that clear what exactly you need to know for the first part of the exam. She does give extra credit (2-two page papers) up to 20 points, this helped me alot. exams were pretty hard. assignments were ok, she lets you fix your answers for more points.

Took class online and work load is heavy. There's a lot of reading, and for exams you need to know five chapters worth of reading that you aren't sure what you need to remember. There are some definite things you know like vocab and essays, but maps are aa bit questionable of what you should know. Passing isn't hard, but getting an A maybe.

I took the fully online course, I haven't met her but she responds all the emails, never was mean at all. The classwork is pretty simple: read a chapter, define some words, a couple of essays to send in, read another chapter, etc. The EXAMS ARE EASY IF YOU READ THE MATERIAL. This class is a pretty easy A.

This honor student dropped class Unequivocally the most unprofessional individual I've ever met in my academic career. Avoid this person, especially in Online formats. Engages in harsh belittling mocking commentary to students, probably very qualified, however needs to upgrade her people skills, should NOT be instructing at community college level.

Her class is very boring. She talks throughout the period and I had her 4 summer school (imagine 2 hours). Her class is easy though, and you dont have to do much studying at all. Just prepare urself to sleep everyday in class, or do other classes homework. Easy A.

Mrs.Klemm for Western Civilization and she made the class easy. All the homework, quizes, and maps were simple. The only worry is her exams but she grades it so its hard to fail. I reccomend her.

Talking like that about a great teacher with outstanding skill and knowledge is a shame. As a foreign student, I got an A in her class. To have an A, one has to study, do the homeworks and take her class very seriously. Be also responsible is another secret. Be a college student, not an high school one Then you will pass her class with a strong A.

I took this class online. It's really a self-taught class. She takes too long to grade tests and doesn't even reply to questions posted in the discussion area. I should get at least a B, but I don't recommend her. You will have to study and read your book, plus weekly assignments. and 3 tests covering 5 chapters each. Find another professor.

Professor Klemm is an okay teacher but the test and the quizzes are EXTREMELY EASY!!! You do have to teach yourself which means reading the chapters at least twice but its not that bad. Book is essential so buy it but its a waste of time to come to class because all she does is lecture but is strict on attendance!!!
