Professor Sonnenstuhl is awesome. Super knowledgeable about on-campus issues pertaining to school values, Greek life, and alcohol consumption. Class involves weekly discussion sections with TAs who are junior/senior leaders on campus. Super chill lectures with iClicker participation, and two research paper projects count for main grades. Excellent teacher, one of the nicest I've ever had. Will give you as much time as you need to clarify any course topics. While lectures can be dry, the interesting course material and relevance of classtime to graded papers are helpful.

Very nice and easy but incredibly boring. Wouldn't recommend it if you arent in ILR. The lectures are completely useless.

I fell asleep in every lecture. Lectures are unorganized, class is useless, and I don't recommend it to non-ILR students. Luckily he co-taught with Sam Bachrach. However, he is one of the nicest people I have met- he genuinely cares about his students' well-being and is always more than willing to help out if you are having a rough time.
