Mrs. Billie was hands down the best professor I've had at Wilmington. Always read our papers and cared to know about us. She was willing to help if you were struggling and was just a great person. If you ever get a chance to take her, I HIGHLY recommend it. She made me love English class again.

She is a wonderful teacher and you can tell she cares about her students and their writing. She does have a little bit of an issue with getting back to you on time about questions or concerns. She also can be very confusing and unorganized. Expect to write 1 draft and 1 final essay a week. Very little reading. Easy enough class if you focus.

Billie was a very good English teacher. She truly cares for her students & their success; she will do her best to help you as long as you're willing to work for it & be honest. Only issue I had was that she can be a little confusing; i.e. occasionally her thoughts aren't clear in her own head, so when shes trying to explain them, they makes 0 sense

mostly rough drafts and finals. read a selection a week and answer 5 questions based on your opinion. Easy grader, gives study guides on what will be on final. Only took one test the entire class and it was the final. Does not require APA format on papers but focuses on grammer and how well the paper sounds all together. She will work with you.

Not many of my professors took their time to read and correct my papers like she did. She is so sweet and understands that you have a life outside of school and conflicts come up. She is one of the best teachers I have had. She still offers to help me with papers even though I do not have her anymore. I suggest her to anybody.
