Prof. Ko will blatantly stare down at students if they don't answer her questions, and even when answered we all fear she will give a demeaning back-handed compliment. Although an excellent performer, she maintains a reputation of rudeness and awkward social skills (csuf). Granted most bad comments are from private lessons or chamber groups.

I had professor Ko for 7 years because I did both under and grad. She is fantastic! There is no right or wrong answers with music. She respects that. Some people get confused and frustrated that she doesn't point out everything, but I think she just wants you to make your own masterpiece, not copy of Bongshin Ko. Time to enjoy making real music!

The easiest class I ever took at CSUF. She tells you exactly what's going to be on the exam and all you have to do is, look it over before class. She gives so much extra credit you don't even have to take one of her exam.

She is soooo easy! All you have to do is go to class (which is usually cut short or cancelled), write down the little information she gives you and memorize it. She gives tons of extra credit too!
