Bonnie is a real gem and I'll be sorry to see her go when she retires at the end of spring quarter. Her class is quite intensive, she takes attendance every class, and it is a lot of work but you definitely come out of it a better writer than you were when you started. I recommend her if you are serious about learning and are willing to work hard.

Bonnie was a great techer all you really need to do is be in class everyday and she is super helpful after class or projects if you need any and always trys to make sure you do your best so helps with essays to and accept somelate work not alot and very easy final because she give you a review to study from or what is in it take her you will pass

I am currently taking my BA and will go on to do my MA. There is never a day go by when I am writing professional papers that I do not thank this professor for her dedication, commitment and hard work she put in to teaching. She gave me the foundation to be able to achieve excellent results at any levels. I have to rate her the best overall.

Comment:

She's a really good teacher and very understanding. Never had a teacher as understanding like her. The only thing I'm bummed about is that I showed up to class everyday and completed all the assignments with good grades and participated, but at the end I got a 3.0. I expected something higher than that...not sure to why she did this..

Hard class and boring. Teachers are supposed to bring good and positive energy+smile to the class. This teacher does not say hello or good morning when she enters to the class, which is pretty far from courtesy.

Her class is very hard, you need to spend a lot of time for the homework. She's not friendly. Her class is very boring, and she's not clear with assignments. Do not take class with her. I'm saying this honestly.

Bonnie class goes beyond teaching you how to write college level papers. She also teaches you how to be an effective student. What I learned in this class will carry me through years of college and beyond in my career. Thank you Bonnie!

Bonnie is a sweet lady, just a bit old fashioned and something of a perfectionist. Leave your goofiness at the door, because she does not tolerate her students not paying attention. Overall, if you're serious about learning, take this class, I found it to be very rewarding.

Bonnie is a great instructor. Read the two small textbooks, show up to class, participate in class and you will do very well. She doesn't put up with nonsense and she shouldn't have to, so leave it at the door!

The class was easy but it takes a lot of your time because there is a ton of busy work. She is extremely control oriented and tells you how to manage your time even if you already have this figured out. If you have a distaste for this approach, I would avoid her class. She does teach good general writing practices but she's too micro focused.

Attendance is important-if you talk to her about it she is very willing to work with you. She requires a lot of WRITING. If you enjoy writing then take her class. She is not hard you just need to keep up. I would not take her again however.

Bonnie treated everyone in the class as if they were 6 years old. No one was allowed to utter a word or even rustle a paper. I was not very taken with her and found her class to be quite boring.
