Media Psychology is an interesting topic and I would recommend taking this class if you read the course description and you find the topic intriguing. We had one midterm and one final, as well as a bi weekly readings and one small project (topic of your choosing!) which you present at the end of the year. Dr. Waite cares and wants you to succeed!

Absolutely amazing at his job. He is very dry, but this is college, so stop whining. Other professors who teach 221 make it so complicated for no reason and that makes it easy to get lost. You WANT this class to be plain and simple, on point, precise, and fair, and that is what this guy is. He is so nice and his exams go EXACTLY with the powerpoint

Honestly was not looking forward to taking 221 and 222, but he really did make it so much better. He's always there to help out to make sure you succeed. He gives you extra credit opportunity, study guides for the exam, and sometimes even cancels class. It is a hard class, but show up, take some notes, and pay attention and you'll do fine.

Guys he's really cool. I am finishing up a summer 2016 online psych class with him and he's a really understanding, smart man. He is SO good about communication and literally gives the best feedback. Take him, you won't be disappointed.

I spent so long dreading research methods and he saved this class for me. It's a lot of work no matter who you take but dr. waite is so helpful and despite boring and long lectures, he's super nice and as long as you put effort in you'll do fine. Easily one of the best professors at ccsu, wish I could take him again.

Dr. Waite is my favorite professor at CCSU. He's very understanding and fair, laid back but you still learn so much in his class. If you go to class consistently and take part in his lectures, you should do well. He takes a lot of questions from the book's online site. Grades are based on a few labs, and exams including a final. Participation helps

Dr. Waite is nice guy. Not very many chances for grades, though. 3 exams (100 PTS each), 2 labs (25 PTS each), plus your research project (125 PTS). I like him as a person but it was a tough transition from one 221 prof to his 222 class. I always thought I did better on the exams than I actually ended up doing. Pay attention and go to class.

Took Media Psych as a summer class. Very interesting! He's a fair grader and gives extra credit options. There was a lot of reading for this course, so be prepared to spend most of your free time reading research journals. Overall good teacher, and class was interesting because it's his area of research.

Great teacher! Had him for the online PSY 112 during Winter break. It was an intense class, but he always responded to my emails & made the class interesting & fun. Got everyone involved & involved in the class. Asked us a lot of intriguing questions. I never met him, but he came across as a very nice, helpful & patient person. I learned a lot!

Class itself requires alot of work but Waite makes the information easy to understand and is willing to clarify anything not understood. Very nice professor, fair grader and extremely knowledgeable. Do the reading and work hard on the proposal and you will do well. I will be taking him for Psy 222!

He is extremely knowledgeable in the field of research methods. He is not a "fluff" professor and you will have to work hard in his class to do well. He has office hours for extra help and devotes several classes to receive help on your research proposal. His power point presentations are extremely thorough. Would have liked more hands on with SPSS

Dr. Waite is very clear and helpful. Lectures are often boring. Took him for PSY 221 and 222. In both classes, grade based on three exams, two lab assignments, class participation, and the paper/proposal. Extra credit is given. The tests are fair. Dr. Waite wants you to succeed. You learn a lot in his class.

Great professor. Always available to discuss projects. Fair grader. Tests were hard but manageable if you go to class, take good notes, and actually study. Half of the test was open book which was helpful.
