In the first class, he assigns each student a playing card, then he shuffles and deals out 4 or 5 cards at the start of each class. Never go to sleep without having paper briefed your cases. Tough, but the best teacher, learned a lot of law, but also how to think/speak on your feet. Don't shy away from this class because it's hard. It's worth it.

Must read. Random recitation and he will eviscerate you if you are unprepared. Someone cries each semester - sometimes several people break down. He reminds me of a gold prospector from the 1800s. Learned a lot though.

Must prepare for class thoroughly and reciting isn't easy, but you're going to learn. It was a great class, but you'll be miserable if you don't want to put in the time and effort.

I agree, if you do your work, you have no problem. but if you don't you'll pay the price. his recitation is no harder than Mc Greal or Steiner. I recommend him all the way.

Had him for trial and pretrial procedures. Best there is. The lazy students complain. He co-authors the rule book and he taught me everthing i needed to pass the bar exam. He's the man

His tactics are sickening. Not conducive to learning. Stay away if you can...not worth the effort. Same on South Texas for allowing him to waste our time and money.
