Cary is a very eccentric man. He will push you very hard in his class and can sometimes be very frustrating. He is very anal about little things in your work and will be a pest about them. However, I found at the end of the semester I really did have some impressive watercolors, however there is very little room for creativity in this class.

Wonderful teacher. Always willing to give you his honest opinion, even if you don't want to hear it. This guy really knows his stuff. If you're willing to sit and listen for a long time, he has a lot of great information to offer.

he's an abstract artist lost in his exhibit hey-days. if u're not an abstract artist, then this class is really hard. he told me i had no talent, even tho my pieces were always complimented on in critiques. the only good thing is he lets u listen to ur own music. beware of bob dylan!!
