Madigan was the best. He was good for first year Calculus, but unless you had him for Multivariable then you didn't truly experience him. The classes were smaller and it got more personal. It was a tough as nails course but worth it in the end. Newly retired, he was one of those profs that you will never forget.

Very poor professor. I paid to learn calculus during class time. I work 3 jobs and take care of my daughter, seeing him 3 hours per week in his office to learn what he should have covered in class was not an option for me. He rarely made any sense and he often verbally abused students who asked sincere questions. This course was a disappointment.

Tied for first place w/ peterson as the best prof @ ac. First years beware, he is not the kind of proff that suck hole nerds will enjoy. he is the most practical prof ive ever had (re diff assignments). Genuinley nice guy, develop a relationship with madigan and you will be very satisfied!

I had him for 1000 and 1001 and the first time i saw him I thuoght he was a cross between Santa and Sean Connery. Lectures weren't that clear, but go to him for help and he'd give you all the tme of day. In that aspect, he was great.
