I was very disapointed since I was going to register with Prof. Figueroa and she is not teaching anymore at the Woodbridge campus. This professor is Hilarious and gives very good feedback. This was a 5 credit class, time flies when you are in one of her class. It is amazing how she can merge the class material with her experiences and technology

This professor is hilarious. I learned a lot in a very fun way. I love her stories and anecdotes about her trips abroad. She is an interesting professor. I used to stay after class just for o talk with her. She makes Spanish easy and fun even though some topics are hard. I love her!!!

Took this class over the Summer. I found MS. Figueroa to be strict and impatient with her students and she also assigned way too much homework would not recommend anyone take her class.

I honestly would not suggest anyone to take her class. She teaches way too fast, she's rude and is not a good professor. People were literally skipped her class because she was so terrible. I dropped her class after the third day.

I feel like everyone should expect to put forth some effort when studying a foreign language. Her class is challenging, but it's not impossible. Plus she's very sweet and cares a lot about her students, even the slackers. Pretty demanding, but very fair and always willing to help. I recommend her.

Had her for 201 &202.the 1st time, I hadn't been in Spanish for over 10 yrs so I deserved a B.this time I submitted A papers, aced her vocab quizes, & showed much improvement and she still gave me a B and an 88%, even though she rounded my 79% to a B last semester. It is really hard to succeed unless you're a favorite of hers. you'll know if U R.

I love Professor Figueroa! The class is pretty difficult, but that's because I've never taken Spanish before. She's funny and is very clear about what she expects. She assigns a fair bit of homework, but that's to be expected.

Give effort and you will pass. Dr. Figueroa is funny and you'll enjoy how her mind works. Things I would have done differently-practice orals long before you present them, sit next to someone you would like to be partners with and studied more vocab and culture.

This teacher's class was disorganized and her attitude towards me was disrespectful. I dropped the class and took it again with another professor and got an A. This teacher's class will be a waste of your time and money. She's the typical jaded tenure teacher thats been there too long. Pick anyone else.
