Any time you ask for help she acts very rude. She is a terrible teacher because she is impatient, and she is condescending. She is very ornery and she doesn't like to be inconvenienced to do her job, which is to help students. Surely you can pass her class but I'd take the class with another professor or at Grossmont College. Avoid taking her!

Extremely Rude!! Have heard her talk down to her co-workers at the comp. lab!! I feel so bad for them. Class is boring and you have to be exact. Other than that, not too difficult to pass. Bad Professor though.

Very helpful and actually cares about students success. Can seem a little rough but that is just her style - really she cares. In the lab she is always eager to help anyone with any class they are taking.

Comment:

Carol Lloyd is a very good teacher. She helps every way that she can to make sure I pass her class. If i need help at home on the computer she takes her own time to help out whenever I call. She makes class fun because she's got a great personality.

She is the hardest teacher ever. Unwilling to teach students. I do not recommend her to anyone. Any students drop her class the first week and two weeks before finals. Very hard. Not helpful, and disorganized.

Textbook is very helpful for learning computer concepts. Teacher is very thorough and knows her subject. She helps anyone at every chance she gets. Would take her for any class she teaches and I highly recommend her. She has been teaching for 11 years and still going strong.

expects hmwk assignements that she never assigns. miss one day and she swears its the end of the world. miserable class. wastes paper by her handouts. I was constantly correcting her, she knows very little about computers, and has no patience for people who are trying to learn. tedious assignments.

She is a student that got work teaching after she took the class. Her instructions are way too exact for artistic types. You have to get the objects very close to measurements. If you do the stuff and try, she's going to give you a good grade.

So controlling that she will not allow students to make a move except to follow along with her. She knows very little about her subject [Corel Draw] and will not allow students to explore and learn. She's a compulsive talker and very rude.
