Comment:

I took her at NWACC and found her to be knowledgeable about what she teaches. I would be cautious about skipping class. She assigned homework that was due by next class and did group work on the whiteboards so if that's something you don't like, look for another professor. One thing I didn't like was that she is on her phone a lot.

horrible teacher. I learned more from the substitute than her. all she does is write on the board the whole time and doesn't really stop to ask if the class understands. I do not recommend her. find someone that is more willing to help you if you have questions

she IS nice but She speeds through the lessons writing as fast as she speaks and leaves no time for questions IF questions ARE SQUEEZED in she's unclear OR ignores them.class consists of lessons and quizzes and tests have nothing to do with the lessons or the difficulty level is higher than the examples. DONT TAKE HER IF YOU WANT TO PASS!

This calss was a waste of money and time. I learned more about what it means to be a BAD teacher than anything. I guess that is good in a way though. I feel sorry for you that have to take her class. B. Madison is a much better teacher. I dont understand why she is still teaching at the U of A!

She means well, but ignores when students are having difficulty. The class consists of her working problems on the board. There are quizzes that apply to the material, but tests that don't. This was my worst and least favorite class thus far. Many friends agree with me.

I think she tries hard, but she doesn't do a very good job of explaining or preparing you for the mid-term and final. All she does is work problems on the board , she doesn't really explain anything. If you ask her for help she will work another problem for you. Definitely don't take MODULAR!

horrible math teacher. she is very confusing and doesnt know the material very well. i have her for a "modular" calculus and absolutely hate it. her tests are vaguely written have little to do with the homework. avoid this teacher.

Her awful teaching and poorly written tests make the class extremely difficult, avoid her at all costs if you enjoy keeping your GPA up. Half of the time she doesn't have a clear understanding of the material herself.

I absolutely loved Ms. Bain. She is nice and if you pay attention she makes learning math so easy. The only thing I didn't like was that she gave quizes almost everyday. But she is one of the best teachers I've ever had.

Comment:

Mandi is a useless teacher who doesn't even know what she is teaching. She often does not know how do problems but expects us to figure them out ourselves. I learned nothing thanks to her.
