Great teacher. Thankful to have had him before he retired. Although he got off track sometimes, he kept me engaged and encouraged questions. Wish he had retired after my graduation!

Funny but didn't learn anything. completely forgot his name until I just saw it. took him for precalc and he'd do a problem and then say "now that's what you're going to learn in calc". Constantly messed up problems. Only class I ever got a bad grade in,

Prof was generally a pretty nice guy. He will be funny and mess with the class at times. He never assigns anything from the textbook and even admits that you don't need it. If you show to class, take notes, pay attention then you should do fine. He gives you pretty much everything you need to pass the class.

generally nice guy, but very hard to follow. does not explain the concepts very well and gets confused when reviewing problems, which is frustrating. easy grader though, so as long as you do a lot of studying independently you'll do fine.

Ehler is nice as a person, but is almost unintelligible as a teacher. The grading is very straight-forward and makes sense, attendance is not mandatory, and there is a lot of review. However, you pretty much have to teach yourself what you don't understand because he doesn't make any sense in class when he reads problems aloud and makes mistakes.

Wasn't a fan of him at first, but retook MAT012 with him because he offers the best format for online learning. He doesn't BS you with MyMathLAB! If you’re not an idiot then he's flexible and willing to answer questions and work with you. NO graded homeworks, around biweekly quizzes and a final at the end with notes allowed at the testing Center

If you are someone who is not good at math, do not take his class. if you have always been fairly good in math like I was, you should be fine. His grades are all tests, but he gives a practice test before each one. He will answer questions if you have them, but he goes fairly quick when writing on the chalkboard. other than that he is a nice guy!

Great teacher! I took him for online math class and he was unbelievably great. Hes so helpful and extremely patient with his students. Overall hes just a nice understanding guy. His class really isnt hard if you just stick to the text and actually try. I dont see why everyone thinks its hard. This was the first math Ive passed. Just a great teacher

Not really a intune person, not flexible. His struture of assignments are basics, non turn in homeworks, 7 quizzes, mid-term and final. Outside of that, not too many positives. Not exactly the teaching type. A student in his course must work really hard to pass. The online version of this course involves lots of weblinks and min. usage of the texts

As someone already mentioned, if you fail or struggle in this guy's calculus courses, you're probably just lazy. His lectures didn't do much for me, but his tests are easy enough that his input is barely necessary. If you work the problems and read the material as assigned, you should do just fine.

Made class a little more interesting with random, off topic facts, and made a lot of jokes. But sometimes going off topic made material more confusing. Pay close attention, but not too much attention. Willing to help and answer questions. Easy quizzes, midterm, and final too. I recommend him if you are already good at math.

Terrible. Thinks people are idiots if they don't understand the material right away. Makes you feel like you can't ask him for help since he demeans anyone that doesn't understand math. Math is useless in college if it doesn't have to do with your major. This guy should retire.

He is amazing. Do take his class, he works hard to make sure you get it. His tests reflect his homework- he literally takes hw questions to make test. If you fail or struggle you are lazy. Warning- he makes jokes, you must be smart to get and dont be easily offended and you will enjoy the course

A great funny teacher who is VERY philisophical. He's sarcastic but very helpful. He likes to be funny and talk about drinking and he has a youtube account. SERIOUSLY! MOMMESSEH is the name look him up. ^_^ He's a great guy and I wish I could take Calc2 with him next semester. Even though I did badly in the class that wasn't his fault.

I took Professor Ehler's online class. As oppose to using MyMathLab or your textbook, that you paid for, he sends you to random web-links such as Wikipedia. He does not teach you, he has other websites do it! If you want to actually learn something choose someone else.

I took Professor Ehler for Elementary Statistics during the two week winter course and initially thought it was going to be horrible. But this class is really easy when taught by this man. His sense of humor, random tangents, and sarcastic comments are hilarious when you get it, and he's just an all around cool teacher. Make sure you pick this guy!

The guy is hilarious, and he knows a lot about math. He sometimes goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with calculus, but he does a great job of teaching the material. The tests are difficult, but he gives out great review packets and optional homework assignments that will make them much easier.

I took statistics online with this instructor and I thought he did a decent job. I was thrown off at first because he doesn't use the text in order, so there are times when you feel lost but it all makes sense by the end. I did not find the tests difficult at all- just review the quizzes and homework and you're good to go.

He himself is a great guy kinda funny if you know your sarcasm but he gives extremley hard tests and youll be learning calc. no doubt about it. "my goal is to get you into calc." why would I wanna do that? No homework though. Its also really hard to keep notes with him, he's all over the board. Best bet is to sign up for math as early as possible
