He often goes off on random rants about things that are not related to the class. When a question is asked about the material he will either talk around it or make you feel dumb for asking. The material that is covered in class/HW that seems to be relevant is nothing like the tests that are given. Be prepared to teach yourself everything.

Dr. Knight tends to lecture on application of the theory rather than the theory itself. He still covers the theory very well, thus giving students a theoretical and real world understanding of the material. Dr. Knight is the professor for students that think beyond what is required for a grade, for those that have learning as the number 1 priority.

Not a good teacher at all. Knows his stuff though. You can't take that away from him. Very enthusiastic while teaching, but that doesn't mean he can teach anything to you. He has Sloppy notes and random bursts of tangents. Avoid him if you are not a genius or catch on real easily. Otherwise C.
