I took his class over 2 years ago &I still remember him vividly. That being said, don't take him. He got mad when students asked Qs during lecture bc he was going too fast. Cares about getting through material. Don't even think about discussing your quiz grade for more points. All gen chem series I took &this was my only B! All the rest were A's.

Robledo's teaching position has a protection from any criticism by students because he invested 10+ years into the university. He does not care to teach, but just get a paycheck. I fought to get a D. I retook 121 with Opotowski and got an A...

He seems nervous, unsure & hesitant. Resembles "Livingston" from Ocean's Eleven. Often makes mistakes, resulting in crossed out equations in my notes. Unorganized lectures. Took time away from 4 students' quiz time for being "late".. 2 minutes before class began, and refused to listen to the entire class saying he was wrong. Shouldn't be teaching.

Don't listen to other people's comments on this professor.I realized that his lectures are kinda boring(but so do most lectures are). However,he explains everything clearly.Those saying that his lectures are not clear probably do not read the txtbook before class.As long as you read textbook b4 class and do problems in it,his class should be easy.

So he's not so much hard as he is very dull. The way he pauses throughout his sentances makes it hard to stay focused. Ulike other chm professors, he lets you earn points from quizzes every week (helpful) and hw on mastering chm (VERY helpful). He grades fair and returns tests super fast.

I have learned more about chemistry through Google then through this guy. Every day I write down the topic and then go home and type it in and teach myself. It's pointless to ask a question because the response you will get is always the same. "Well you see...this is how you do you it...and yeah...that's it", and then moves on. Pointless.

i took chem in high school and only passed because i cheated my way through, but in this class im actually trying, and i dont understand anything. this is a horrible teacher and i would never ever recommend anyone to take this class. worst decision i ever made. oh and i just received an email from him telling me the class average is a 56.9%.

the worst teacher you can get. he dosn't know how to answer questions and his test grading process is really weird. don't ever take his class...its better to wait one more quarter and actually get something out of chemistry

This teacher is not that interesting, and he seems to have a hard time solving problems in different ways. I would not take his class again even if it was the only avaiable class. He even marks off points if you don't solve a problem of the tests exactly the way he teaches it.

Do not take this teacher's class unless you have to. I had him for both 121 and 122 only because I had to. All learning will be done on your own. Don't expect him to help with much of anything. Think cat lady meets momma's boy

I LOVE Chemistry, and I got a C in his class. I even went to his office hours. He's kinda weird; like, you'll understand the material that he's teaching, but when it comes to the test, nothing is really the same. His tests are really difficult. Force yourself to remain interested because he can be boring. Uses Web-CT which makes the class harder.

Oh-So-Boring!! And thinks hes just too smart to help students! BORING!! However, he has great class notes, lets you re-take homework on webct to get a perfect score, and grades on a serious curve!! But he gives weekly quizes that suck, and the exams are killer!

He returns tests REALLLLY FAST, and the tests are fairly easy---no stupid tricky questions. A pretty decent teacher. The only problem is that he comes off as having a "duh, you're supposed to know that!" kinda attitude which is a baaad thing when learning a painfully dull subject like Chem.
