I took English 102 with Ms. Gray during the summer session. She is a wonderful person and a professor. She cares about her students. Don't expect easy A; you must be willing to work hard for your grade. COME to class or you will not pass. She gives a lot of work and can be really picky when it comes to grading, but she does it to help you learn.

Overall she's a wonderful teacher, even though i didn't pass with the grade that i would have like or felt i deserved i respect her decision. I hate writing all ways have and all ways will but she does make it easy on you. Just make sure you have the proper grammar,punctuation, and correct works cited or she will ride you all semester long

Prof. Gray will mold you to be a better writer! I learned so much from her. Like others have said, she's very honest & may seem strict. But her instructions are very clear & if you follow them, you will do well in her class. There's a lot of work but it's definitely worth it if you aspire to be a good writer.

She was very knowledgeable & I learned a great deal. If you are thin-skinned or sensitive I would advise you to look elsewhere. She is armed with a very sharp tongue and is not shy about publically flaying a student with it. Best suited to honor students but a poor fit for anyone who struggles with grammar. The text is excellent, depend upon it.

Dr. Gray is wonderful! I took her grammar class, even though I am an English major, and it was really helpful! She is a TRUE English teacher and a Grammar Guru! Dr. Gray referred me to the Honors Program and PTK and helped me sort out transfer stuff. I'm going to Emerson, the school of my dreams, and I don't think I would have made it without her.

Truly a University-class professor. She makes you think critically, and she does make you work. That being said, you do learn from her class. Dr. Gray is one of the best English teachers at the school. If you have the opportunity, take her in-class rather than online. Best of all: you study food rather than poetry!

Dr. Gray is the best teacher I have ever had! She is so helpful and really cares about the students. She has recommended me for the Honors Program and has offered to write any recommendation letters I may need. I would never had even thought about the Honors Program had it not been for her. I wish I could take more of her classes.
