Comment:
Professor Edwards is terrible at teaching. He barely explains the problems he goes through and then expects you to be able to apply it to every problem. He doesn't write down notes in class which makes it even more difficult to learn. He is sometimes rude in class and can be unprofessional at times. Overall, poor teaching and woun't recommend.

Edwards is a very nice approachable man but the class structure is awful. You are expected to read the textbook, if you don't the lectures won't make sense. He rarely writes notes on the bored. You don't learn equations just calculator based. Curves a lot on exams but that's because lecture material makes no sense so no one can pass without a curve

There were 3 test worth a huge part of your grade. Test were true or false and very hard. Nice guy, just did not know how to teach calculus.

Do your homework. He's pretty lenient and has amazing curves on his tests. I missed at least 1 class a week and had the class for 4 days of the week and still pulled a solid A. As long as you do your homework and get good grades on that and show up for your presentations its easy to pass.

awful professor. He curves grades. You probably won't learn much, but if you attend his class, do the homework, do the group projects, and fail all your exams, he will curve your grade to a B+.

Does not teach anything, he puts problems on the board and expects you to know the answer. Can't clearly answer your question. Convulded. We spent the whole hour of class today talking about how he wants to write every single digit out and not round.. If you round to a certain decimal place he will mark it wrong. Terrible class

Dr Edwards is amazing!!! He tries to give practical examples of the material which are beneficial to business majors!! Make sure to email him with any questions and look at his examples he gives when you are studying for your tests!

Chris Edwards is a very difficult professor, he doesn't really teach the class he just works out an example and then gives you time to practice even though we don't even know how to do the problem. I had to go to the math tutor to understand the class which I have never done before.

He jumped around the textbook a bit, but is always open to questions and makes the class easy to discuss in. He is very generous when it comes to curving exams and even curved the class and gave the whole class 100% on two of the writing labs if all we did was just turn it in. Exams are tough but if you pay attention and study they aren't terrible.

Chris is not a good professor. He was very opinionated and made it seem like he was not very approachable. Never gave clear directions. Learned more reading the book about the class then from him. But it felt like I was teaching myself the class.

Chris is a professor that doesn't post his grades, he makes you talk to him outside of class if you miss the days he hands back your assignments. On top of that he is very unprofessional and will wear jeans,tee-shirts to class, even no shoes to class. He also makes you self teach yourself the material even if he is supposed to be teaching you.

Worst math professor I have ever had. Difficult to talk to, very opinionated and rude if you don't agree with his opinions. All of his tests are at least half true/false, but the questions are subjective. You have to read the chapters to have a clue what he's talking about, and tutors won't be able to help you because they won't understand either.

I gave Edwards a chance even after reading these reviews. Although he's a business calc prof, he doesn't know the answers to the business problems. He tells you to go ask your business professors instead of him. Exams would've been much easier if the material was covered thoroughly... beware of T/F questions. Doing homework helped me pass.

His class doesn't prepare you for exams. Also he curves his class right out of the gate so you know the class will be a struggle. He is a nice guy who loves math but he explains everything in so many ways you get lost. Going to get help from the math tutors only gets you so far because most do not even get his homework problems.

Math comes really easy to me, and I had a C in this class, which is not okay. I transferred to a different professor and have over 100%. He literally walks around the room and babbles about the history of math and how these equations came about. Doesn't teach the lesson at all. Avoid him at all costs. I took Reigel and he is the BOMB.

Edwards is the worst professor on this campus. He is the reason I am doing horrible in class. His lectures make no sense because he talks to himself and his exams are not similar to what we go over in class and on the homework. He is very unorganized. Stay away from this professor as much as you can!

He doesn't really do any example problems, you pretty much have to learn everything yourself. He grades the homework for points and there are a couple presentations where you can earn points.
