Comment:

Definitely your best bet if you're weak in Bio. STEM's my worse area of study and I passed with an A even though I got two D's out of the five tests. However, to pull something like this off, you gotta attend class regularly because the bulk of his extra credit comes from quiz assignments and Critter of the Week. Great at teaching it simple!

What an amazing guy! I took the half online, half in class part where lecture was online but lab was in person. Mr. Haynes was amazing and fun, made the class enjoyable and easy! Extra points on tests and lab assignments! Must attend the one class a week but it usually ends in half the time! Great Class, Great Guy!

Mr. Haynes really enjoys what he does and it shows. If you ever need any help, just email him and he will normally get back to you pretty quickly. His lectures are the main bulk of his class, giving a lot of weight on the exams like most classes. Just pay attention and have fun.

He was an absolute joy to have as a prof. He is super funny and likes to make sure that students are actually engaged and learning the material. He gives straightforward notes and tells you what to study the most, just an awesome instructor overall.

Mr. Haynes was a wonderful teacher and it is obvious that he loves what he does. He is there to always help and make the class interesting. I was never very good with Biology, but he made it to where it was easy to learn and easy to pass if you put in your own effort as well. Awesome guy. Id love to take another class of his.

Mr. Haynes is an awesome teacher. I was dreading taking Bio to start with but he makes class fun, gives great analogies, and gives you several chances to make a good grade if you put forth the effort. Would reccomend him 10/10. Really wish he taught Anatomy & Physiology 1 & 2.

Mr. Haynes was an absolute joy to have as a professor. He makes his lectures so fun and he makes sure to get the important information across. He loves his students and its easy to see why he is so admired and respected in his field. Hell definately make your time at Shelton much more enjoyable (as well as bestow some great life lessons).

Mr. Haynes loves what he does. I think that is what makes him such a good teacher. He breaks things up into sections and makes it to where anyone can understand the topic. I wish I could take him again.

He is amazing teacher. Makes sure your understanding what he's teaching you. Gives out easy quiz grades, and in lecture he basically tells you whats going to be on the test. His test are multiple choice and you have a chance to get bonus points on the test. If you miss an exam you have a chance to make it back up on designated makeup days.

Mr. Haynes is an awesome teacher. His lectures can get a little long but he makes the test straight from the notes and powerpoint. He gives lots of easy quiz/homework grades and those really make up a big part of your final grade... Always do the homework! His class is fun and we have a good laugh in every class.

Great professor. If you go to class, you will get everything you need. He offers "homework" that is easy. So many of the "homework" and quiz grades go towards the actual quiz grade. Once you get all your quiz points, all the other points are extra towards your final grade! No lecture book needed because he shows it on the powerpoint , get lab book.

Dumbs biology down. TONS of extra credit. Because of all the extra credit I was able to get an easy A putting forth minimal effort and getting B's on all my tests.

If you need a bio, this is the class take! He makes his lectures understandable by using analogies. He gives out a multitude of extra credit. I received so much that I didn't have to take my final, and I still got an A. The tests can be difficult, but they are fair; you just have to study.
