Amazing teacher! Provokes thought in her students. Enjoys students who participate in class discussion. She is very helpful with papers, and presentations and gives lots of chances. Encourages free thinking and questioning. I have a newfound love of learning because of her.

EXCELLENT teacher. Interesting class discussions, she keeps the class on their toes, but in an interesting way. Class often debates issues like facebook, twitter, she really makes class relevant to the student. Shes brilliant!

Only time focused on subject was when guy sat in to perform a 'random' review. Oh, and when it was time to talk about Othello. Don't ever disagree w/her. She's always right. Will even tell you the book is incorrect. If she tells you something is not required get it in writing because she will forget and grade you accordingly.

She's nice but definitely plays favorites. Spent most of time talking about her life and Victoria Gardens. Don't write on a subject she doesn't 'agree' with, she will dock your grade for it. Feminist, very liberal, easily offended by talk of illegal immigration, does not like SUV's, etc. Should be teaching Eng81 NOT Engl1A. Got A, wouldn't retake.

She is the best teacher I've ever had. Those who complain are slackers and think that getting an education is like doing grocery shopping. Her mastery of the subject is impeccable and I think that students should be grateful to study from such a professor from enrolling in this school.My love for further knowledge stems from taking her class.

at the beginning of the semester i thought this would be the worst class ever... but then she came around and was really laid back... she loved joking around but at the same time she was serious. she was very helpful and she was easy! she grades real easy also. got a's and b's on my essays all the time. great teacher

Comes off hard at first to weed out the slackers. Do your work and participate and you'll do fine. She is irreverent to all subjects to challenge your thinking. She is very helpful if you ask. Stand up to her views and she will respect you, I did and she backed off her preaching. She is passionate about her subject.

Everyone who gives her a low score is trippin. she is extremely down to earth and the class is NOT hard, do the 4 essays with a decent grade and you pass, and the othello project. She is awsome, i strongly reccomend taking her class because she is fun and wont bore you to death. i am not signing up for her 1B class ! highly recomended :D
