One of my favorite professors in the bschool. Corporate finance is a difficult subject, but Green keeps students engaged with his jokes. Exams are not hard if you put the time and effort into studying - his practice exams are almost the exact replica. Funny guy and really passionate about the material

Made corporate finance super fun and easy to learn. Gives a lot of sample quizzes that help learn/ memorize the basics. Should absolutely teach another course.

Hilarious professor and definitely tries his best to make finance fun! As far as any business school class goes, your grade depends on the rest of the class, not how hard the tests are. Tests are similar to the practice, so many people do well! Very test heavy. Lectures are recorded. Overall, solid class!

Professor Green is one of the best B-school profs I've taken. His lectures are clear and engaging, and he periodically inserts jokes, stories, and real-life examples to liven up the material. A real gem at Emory.

He is such a great professor. Corporate Finance is not an easy subject to master, but he does a great job teaching it. If you pay attention in class, and study several days in advance for exams, you'll do great.

He's not a bad professor. But in my opinion, his glowing reputation was built up more than it should be. Green's a fantastic, genuine guy (and he's definitely practiced and perfected his jokes), but as a professor I found him more or less average, maybe a bit above. Definitely the hardest core for me, exams required a ton of work to do well.

Basically what everyone else has said. He's an amazing teacher who really cares about the material and ensuring that students learn it, but his exams are also very challenging. Find a study group, work together, and go see him during office hours if something isn't clear. He's always willing to help, and he's a great person to get to know.

I hate corporate finance, but Clifton Green at least made it doable. He's hilarious and keeps you interested in what would be otherwise soul-crushing lectures. Tests are extremely difficult but he'll give partial credit. Definitely recommend him.

He is funny and engaging professor that can make even a subject like finance seem appealing and engaging. Class moves fast, so be prepared to take notes for the full hour and a half, but if you keep up you should be fine.

Great person. Note: if you are not good at algebra or struggle with math, get a tutor/get out of the class/take it senior year. Exams are hard, but the curve evens things out. The first exam is a clear indicator of how you will do in the rest of the course -if you get a C drop it. DO NOT TAKE FIRST SEMESTER BBA IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH MATH.

Unbelievable professor. By far the best one I've had at Emory, and definitely at the Business School. Attendance is not mandatory but you will WANT to go to class after listening to this guy. Pay attention and you will be fine. He makes a lot of jokes and sometimes gets distracted in class, but he does not mess around on exams, so study hard.

Makes hard material fairly easy to understand. Tells jokes. Very willing to help. Tests are somewhat hard, but fair as long as you do the practice exams and problems he assigns (there are almost no surprises). Definitely worth the wait of a semester if he's not teaching during the next one.
