If you have to take a history class for gen ed take this one with richardson. Everyelse requires a ton of reading there's like 3 quizzes and paper and two tests, but the quizzes adn tests are so easy he gives u all the questions before hand and he gives u 3 and u only have to do two, easiest class ive ever taken i didnt do crap and got an A

Very intelligent guy, but I didn't care for him as a prof. He's such a difficult grader on !! I never once cracked my book open though and still got an A just because every exam was essay form so you can bs your way through it. I would recommend avoiding...

He is feels very stongly about his work but its kinda of annoying at times. He grades hard on the papers and all the quizes and final are essay which I hate so if you dont like essays then do not take him!!!!

he has good enthusiasm and is funny/entertaining. the quizzes/tests are pretty easy, but he grades HARD on papers. he gave me a 55% on one of my papers. that is the lowest grade i've ever gotten. and this is 101! i ended up with a B, though, since the quizzes and exam were so easy. lecture got boring at times & there are a lot of idiots in my class

comrads! he may be really really smart- but hes very opinonated and will always make you feel incorrect. there is a ton of reading- but if you do it you will pass all the quizes and tests...two papers- hell mark you down for english not your information. weird guy...very

He was an awesome professor and was really enthusiatic about teaching. The papers were not bad, just spend some time on them. He was so interesting and you have only essay tests. GREAT CLASS! I highly recommend it to anyone, he is an awesome guy! :-)

Make sure to participate in class, take notes, look at study guides, and make sure you know what the novels are about if you don't read them...helpful, especially on essays and it just fun to listen to. Although he does push you for being a 100 level course I suggest taking him.

This is the best Prof. i've ever had. he's helpful, makes the class interesting, and is passionate about what he teaches, which makes you tend to actually listen to him. take notes, read the book and you'll be fine. quizzes aren't too hard, papers are annoying...be sure to brush up on your simpsons references too... :)

"Worst class ever!" (I'm kidding, its a Simpsons reference) One of the best profs I've had in 3 1/2 yrs This guy should be on Jeopardy. Texts aren't especially needed if you read the novels and pay attention in class. Go to his office hrs and participate. This class was probably the most entertaining and relevant class I've had yet.

This class is really interesting, for the first time i actually feel like i KNOW stuff about history. he doesn't care about dates,he just wants you to know whats going on in the world. Its so interesting. Take him if you can. Tests are easy if you pay attention in lecture. Lots of reading too.
