She was a complicated person. She will smile and I'll invite you to ask questions freely then get mad for asking a question. She was annoyed by people who didn't dance and asked her questions. If you dance she all ears, if you dont you're wasting her time. I passed by the grace of god. She was not clear on her grading criteria. Dont reccomend.

Great teacher and fun class. I knew nothing about modern dance but gradually learned throughout the semester. She is willing to help you as much as you need and is very patient. Truly passionate. ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT. It brought my grade down an entire letter grade. I did an extra credit essay and she did not raise my grade. Overall, good class

I took this class as a beginner. It felt quite advanced. I like her as a person. It did feel like we weren't being taught beginning steps. I understand it is a college class, but advanced dancers from dance ensemble filled half the room. It was very difficult to learn. The new steps were far too advanced for having no dance background. My body hurt

Such a great class and instructor. She gives a lot of extra credit, mid-term and final, you need a notebook for journals and a project thats super easy is due at the end of the semester.

She is such a great instructor. I went into her class with no skill and now I can Tap like no tomorrow. If you don't understand the steps she breaks it down slowly and gives tips and tricks to help you. If you still don't understand it, she lets you film her and she also puts videos up on canvas for "one on one" help. I highly recommend her!

Cynthia is an amazing dancer and an amazing dance teacher. I took Advanced Jazz- She is funny and is really there for you as a teacher. I learned fouette turns in her class which I am super excited about! I always asked for feed back at the end of most classes and she constantly gave me constructive criticism. I will tap her next semester for tap!

Very complicated class to pass. Professor makes no sense or whatsoever with material that she covers. Don't know what I've learned from this class. I'd recommend Music or History of rock and roll for your art requirement.

Such a hard class for an art requirement. The final project was insane and she assigns a lot of homework. Everyone seemed to drop this class by the midterm. Do not take if you are taking a full course load! Take this from a 4.0 student. She is nice though

Cindy is the best dance teacher hands down. She's so sweet and really breaks it down and explains it so you can understand what you're doing. She's very caring and nice. I didn't even know remotely anything about dance before taking the class and now I want to try all kinds. She is such a great person.

Love this class. It's hard but if your willing to do the work you will be in great shape by the end of the class. She is a bit scattered some days and its hard for some people to keep up with her. If you have previous dance experience she is alot harder on you than the other students. But all in all the class is extremely fun.

Love Cindy's classes. took beginning/intermediate tap with her and loved it. never tapped before in my life! i learned so much in her class and im deffinately sticking with tap and also explore other areas of dance! great teacher!! :)

Her class felt like an English class. She made us write lots of reports, we always had homework,and when writting she suggest you take english 101 first but she has tons of typos on her paper. her assignments are really long. she also makes you watch and write about these long and boring movies.

She is really nice and energetic. I would NOT recommend her if you are a beginner or have never Tapped before. She has a lot of trouble being focused on what we are doing. She tends to teach way too many steps in one day and taps much too fast for any beginner to follow along. She would be better for intermediate tappers only. Not for beginners.
