Take him for 3-D, but three words: Beware the Tower. He's a cool dude though. He isn't too harsh on grading as long as you try your best and actually finished the project. He is a sculpture guy, so I think he's the best to take for 3D.

2-D is so terrible. Its so freakin time consuming. The nights before projects were due I hardly ever went to sleep. Dan is somewhat chill. I noticed he shows favoritism toward some students, will help them more and give them better grades. If your craft sucks you will not pass this class. Its very stressful class.

The class is not so much difficult as it is time consuming. Dan is great. HILARIOUS! Will call you on your bulls*#t, so don't be an idiot. Scathing disgust for the lazy - he enjoys the odd and obscure. Keep you're work economical. He will smash flowers.

This class is super difficult, not for the novice. He grades so strict and does not take any crap (late work, shoddy craftsmanship etc) off anyone. But he is very very HOT!!! I would take his class again and again just to watch him move around the room. HOT, HOT HOT!!!

Dan can be a little unclear when he gives you the problem statement, but I think he doesn't want examples of previous work to affect your process. He is always more than willing to help when you ask for it though. Grades fairly and he notices and appreciates hard-workers. He is pretty quiet in an intimidating way until he gets to know you.
