This Professor was a fresh breath of air compared to the other professors I've had. He treats the class like his high school classes, which is anything but a bad thing. He's so patient and understanding and will go over anything you have questions about. He tells you what's on each test and he includes extra credit. He's awesome!

Great professor. You have to keep in mind that he is oldschool Doesnt use blackboard or anything like that. Overall I found the class kind of easy. You have to attend, do your homework, etc. If you do your stuff then you can pull an A. He gives plenty of review of the material and is open to giving students any additional help they need.

He is a really nice guy. If you are already pretty sharp in Algebra he is fine, but if it is not a strength for you do not take him. He does not use any technology, not even email. I would not take him again. Does not have really good office hours either.

Daniel is amazing! He is hilarious and very sweet! He goes out of his way to make sure u get what he is teaching. He teaches in H.S so expect babying lol. Overall I strongly suggest u take him! Allows exam make ups even 3-4 weeks later. He wants u to pass and understand math100. He is the best I ever had! Thanks mr.G

This guy knows what he's talking about. He can help you with how to solve problems and how to correct things you've done wrong in the past and shows you the easiest way to do it. Homework isn't manditory, but helpful. He likes cracking jokes as ice breakers and is an overall good guy.

Awesome guy, really nice and helpful. He did fall behind during the semester, and crammed a lot in right at the end... but he's not a hard teacher, the tests are not as bad as these people say, you just have to be mildly intelligent to do well on them, gives extra credit on tests too. Do the homework and you'll be fine

Nice guy, seems caring, but his test are very hard and long.he was so behind that he went over half of the stuff coming on the final in two class period. Nice guy but he screw the whole class over. I guess this was his last semester at MSU.

Amazing professor. Made math easy and fun. Explained everything with extreme clarity and even answered questions before a test. Wants his students to do well. If you get a bad grade in his class, you seriously must be doing NOTHING all semester.

Let me start by saying I HATE MATH and am not good at it. Awesome guy taken in Fall 2006. Teaches clearly and has a great personality that makes learning algebra easier. DO THE HOMEWORK! If you do it and understand it, you will pass the tests and pass his class. Gives e.c. problems too, so keep an eye out for those. Highly recommended!

This is the best professor teaching math at Montclair. He is extremely clear in his explainations and knows how to teach not just dictate. You will leave his class understanding and comprehending what he has taught not just memorized and forgetten what the class was about.

Great professor. If I had him in high school I wouldn't have had to take this class. Teaches concepts VERY well and easy to undertand. Tests are easy and he doesn't collect homework. But don't be fooled. . DO the hw and you'll pass the tests with flying colors.

He explained things well. His tests were not too hard. However, he was a little disorganized at times, and he'd forget to grade tests, so you could potentially wait 3 weeks for a grade. He is very helpful and more than fair.

Very easy class. I don't know what everyone else is talking about him being too hard and not grading fairly. He gives extra credit (EASY) on every test worth about 5 points a question. He's always there to help, and as long as you pay attention, you're absolutely fine. People just need to learn to ask questions if they have a problem.

Most students will find this class very hard. The testes are very complexes. Professor needs to be more helpful and not too intoned to belittle students for asking questions. The math department in Montclair State in general, needs to restructured. Not the best professor, but choice what do you really have, since the professors are so limited.

The math book is great, but he doesn’t follow the book and makes his testes very, very hard.The class is EXTREMLY boring, and he makes you feel DUMB for asking questions. This class is equivalent to getting circumcised by a gardening spade, unnecessarily painful! Save your money and advoid this class!

Awesome teacher with good teaching techniques. Better than any algebra teacher I had in high school. I dont know what everyone's talking about, but the guy does NOT teach from the book and his exams and grading systems are fair enough.
