very nice lady but she is all over the place. Takes a while to give grades back, if you have an issue try to talk to her about it in person because she sucks at emailing. overall, the class is very interesting, I just wish she was clear with what she wants to be done with every assignment.

Comment:

Pretty tough grader. I worked for hours on a take home test and recieved a C+ on it. She is a nice lady and respects what you have to say and she is very funny. ONly complaint is that she can be unclear about what she expects on assignments and a tough grader. Not terrible, but I probably wouldnt take her again unless I really had to.

She's kind of scatterbrained and talks about random things through class, but always comes back to the topic. Its sometimes difficult to understand her directions but if you ask she'll clarify. She's really funny and interesting too listen to, has a great personality and is very informed about the classes she teaches. Would take her again

Seriously the greatest woman ever. She makes everything seem confusing but it's really not. Don't over analyze what she says. Just do the work and go to class.

She's very unclear and constantly speaks about nothing. She is an extremely nice person but does not give clear directions. She gives a lot of extra credit, especially if a lot of people do not show up to class. She gives extra credit to the people that do show up. Test are common sense and she does not give out many.

One of the best classes I have taken. It started off slow but once we got working on our group project it became i great class. She has a lot of good information you just have to weed through so other points that she has.

Shes a really cool woman but her clarity is atrocious. No one in the class ever understands the directions she gives and it makes the class harder than it should be. My classes speeches were forced to be on the issues of the Middle East while other classes are on 'funniest moment of your life' Not a hard class but a lot easier with a different prof

Wales is a very outgoing and comfortable professor to work with in class. Much of the time goes off the book and relates topics to things the students would understand. Not much preparation or guidance for the tests, but overall a very fun classroom environment to be in.

She is a funny teacher but doesn't really prepare you for the tests, they can be kind of tricky, but COM in general is mostly common knowledge anyways. For the speeches make sure to practice yours in advance because it makes a big difference in her grading.

She's an interesting and very nice lady, but hit or miss as a professor. Her assignments are last-minute and very confusing, and though the class is easy, it sometimes feels like a waste of time. She is very compassionate towards students, though, and always a ready and willing advisor. A passionate and easy-going lady, just a little too floaty.

Wales makes the class room environment fun! Sometimes too fun because you dont realize when you walk out of class you learned nothing and have to read the book. The class room is fun, but useless, if you want to get a good grade in the class read the text book and do the pre and post test over and over. If you are ever sick she will understand

Great professor! At first I hated her, but now I can't wait to go to class. Everybody's really fun and she allows us to really speak our minds. Just make sure to do the reading before class! Also she definitely picks favorites so be prepared for class.

Professor Wales is an excellent professor, always kept her students entertained with her unique teaching skills. This is the only class i can say I walked away with a great amount of knowledge.The speeches taught were phenomenal and an eye opener.She challenged her students critical thinking which allowed them to become better writers.highly recmnd

This is an amazing class. I would highly suggest you take this class. Professor Wales is outstanding. She has a lot of energy and she brings History to life. The speeches are phenomenal... Loved every bit of the class.. Would take it again if I had the choice. You leave the class knowing way more than you would expect. Awesome class and Professor!

She plays favorites, gives arbitrary grades from time to time, taught very disorganized, went off topic a lot, and was hard to reach outside class. And took forever to grade things. and I would be the one kid in the class who's personality clashed with hers. She was passionate about teaching though, but if i had to retake the class, I'd avoid her.
