Comment:

Dr Demoss is an amazing professor. Engaging lectures and continuous quizzes to boost points and keep you up to speed on course content. If youre a student that doesnt like going to class or misses every Friday because youre hungover, dont bother with this class because you probaly wont pass. Work for your grade, it wont be handed to you.

Comment:

Dr. Demoss is one of my faves at MSU. Lectures are engaging and he presents concepts in such a manner as to enable students to logically understand the material. He's clearly passionate about his discipline and knows his stuff. Exams are quite tough, but he grades 100 quiz points that are relatively easy to get. Not an easy A, but one is possible.

Comment:

I took Dr. DeMoss for patho and I learned a lot over the semester. The class consisted of 4 tests and 100 quiz points (the quiz points help b/c you only have to get 100 ?s correct to get a 100 in quizzes). The tests in this class were tough b/c they made you connect concepts to the clinical side and they were all 150 ?s. Study those power points!

Worst decision I've ever made. Do not take him. I had developmental and patho before taking this class and although the material was similar, his test and quizzes were completely impossible. He's one of those professors that does "is it a, is it a & b, is it abcdefg?" Don't take him! Run!

You can read the book, study the power points, take notes, record lectures but it's not enough. I've had this teacher 3 times; 1st time being a mistake, the next 2 being b/c I had no choice. He speaks at 150MPH, he is not helpful, not clear, and his test/quizzes are awful. Don't waste your time or your GPA, & if you must, buy & memorize the book!

Dr. Demoss is really a good professor, his lectures are interesting and get's the point across. His tests are very hard, because he expects a lot from his students. Well warranted when going into the medical field. His class disproved the theory of hard work always pays off, because sometimes you're just not good enough. Not an easy A.

DeMoss is one of my favorite teachers I've had. The people that have complained about him, are students who did not study or did not pay attention. This class can be an easy A if you put forth the effort. The material is interesting as well as understandable. DeMoss presents it clearly and accurately.

Class moves very fast so pay attention, but powerpoints are very helpful if you miss something. He's very clear about what will be on tests and quizzes. They are difficult but if you study you can get an A. You MUST go to open lab or take pictures of modelsslides to do well! They are the same ones on the exams. Very smart, good teacher.

Dr. Demoss is the hardest professor I've had at MSU. The quizzes aren't so bad, but the tests require A LOT of studying. Some material that he hasn't covered gets put on the tests and he never corrects it. Test questions are asked differently than how he taught it during lecture. I love biology but this class is so unnecessarily hard.

Dr. Demoss is an excellent professor, but quite difficult. Quizzes and tests are tough, but can be done if you study. To receive an A you have to put in quite a bit of studying. One of if not the most intelligent professor on campus.

Great teacher! Keeps you on your toes! Be sure to listen to him in class because he gives helpful hints about what to expect on exams. Make sure you know your material! Overall, very good teacher and very good class!

Dr.Demoss is one of the most intelligent professors I have ever encountered. I took him for BIO 171 and 172. You do have to study for this class! I learned a lot from him, a little more difficult but I am glad that I took him! He is super nice with any questions you have for him outside class time.

Dr. Demoss was the first professor I had at MSU. This was for 171 and although it wasn't an easy course, he provided every opportunity for a student to get help from him. I also took him for A&P I and II. His quizzes and exams can be tricky, but study the powerpoints and you'll be fine !

He is very smart and explains things well so that if you don't understand...you eventually will. He is hard, but he is fair--if you are willing to be in class, study for quizzes, and attend study sessions...you CAN make an A. I had him for Anatomy I & II and I have a (now) 2 year old. I made a B in I and an A in II.
